  • Patent number: 4988107
Abstract: The present putter is useful in aligning the striking surface of a putter, a golf ball, and the target. The putter is comprised of a shaft member having a clubhead at the lower end. The top surface of the clubhead has an indicating device consisting of a straight line marking or stripe located along the front top edge. A slanted sight bar is positioned above and perpendicular to the clubhead. The slight bar extends forward of the striking surface of the clubhead and backward beyond the rear of the clubhead. The top surface of the sight bar slants from the back portion downward toward the forward portion. The top portion of the sight bar has a longitudinal straight line indicating device thereon positioned perpendicular tothe indicating device on the clubhead. In a putting stance the golfer sees a cross. The stem of the cross located on the sight bar is placed on line with the hole. The lateral extentions of the cross located on the clubhead indicate the angle of the striking face.

  • Patent number: 4541631
Abstract: The present application relates to a golf club having a hollowed head portion connected to a hollow shaft portion forming a sealed, internal chamber within the club. A flowable weight is positioned within the chamber. A two way valve allows the flowable weight to pass therethrough and into the hollowed head portion by centrifugal force as the club is swung, and allows the flowable weight to return from the hollowed head portion by passing through the valve by gravity as the club is inverted.

  • Patent number: 4413825
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved wood-type golf club. More particularly, it relates to a golf club which is designed to give the golfer maximum margin of error in making contact with the club head and the ball to obtain a straight trajectory on the ball. The shaft and the club head are so aligned that if the center line of the shaft is extended it will intercept a plane positioned perpendicular to the base of the club head and pass through the center of gravity of the club head. The striking face of the club head has a number of horizontal corrugations, ranging from 1/64 to 1/8 inch in depth, which act as knuckle to strike the ball. The striking face of the club tapers inward from the bottom to top at an angle between about 10.degree. to 15.degree.. The area of the face nearest the toe of the club head is tapered inward toward the rear of the club head to compensate for side spin that would otherwise be imparted to a ball hit in the toe area.

  • Patent number: 4048985
Abstract: The present invention relates to an exercise device. The device has a multiplicity of uses. It may be used to test or to strengthen muscles. It may be used to enable the user to develop or improve sexual skills. The device consists of an elongated flexible tube member connected in a fluid-tight manner to a pressure indicating means. Pressure exerted on the tube member is reflected on the pressure indicating means.
