Abstract: A hand-held safety cutting device that facilitates an operator cutting a material without having to tilt the cutting device while cutting and minimizing the operator exposure to the cutting blade pivotally connected therein. The device includes a biased safety slide which must first be placed in an enabling state before the operator can depress a biased activator to pivotally-extend a portion of the blade out of the housing bottom to permit cutting or scoring the material. The blade is releasably installed in a blade holder that is pivotally-biased. The operator must maintain pressure on the activator during cutting/scoring. Once pressure is released on the activator, the blade immediately pivots into the housing and the safety slide moves to a disabling state, preventing any depression of the activator. A cover provides access to install different razor blade types. Another embodiment includes a storage that permits additional blades and blade holders to be stored therein.

Abstract: A method performed by a processor of a first electronic device includes transmitting first authentication information through a Body Area Network (BAN) interface circuit that communicates with a second electronic device using electrical signals conducted through electrodes contacting a body of a user extending between the first and second electronic devices. Second authentication information is received through a radiofrequency transceiver circuit that communicates via an antenna through an air-interface with the second electronic device. A command to control an operation of the second electronic device is communicated responsive to determining that a combination of the first authentication information and the second authentication information satisfies an authentication rule.

A container validation procedure is determined for the container using a plurality of container validation routines. The container validation routines may reflect the role various validation entities have in validating the container and approving it for deployment. If the container successfully passes the container validation procedure, the container may be deployed on a computer system. In some computer systems, a server computer system and remote, client computer system work together to validate the container without the client computer system having to send any private client information to the server computer system.

Additional content such as comments and a promotional message may also be added to the newsletter. The newsletter may then be distributed to subscribers, such as by means of email, FACEBOOK MESSENGER or some other messaging system.

Abstract: A current task flow path of a user is identified based on task flow nodes of the current task flow path, and a data context of the task flow nodes. The task flow nodes may include actions performed by the user with one or more software applications. A suggestion point of the current task flow path is detected. The suggestion point may be detected based upon a user action indicating that the user needs assistance to proceed with the current task flow path. A candidate task flow node is selected responsive to a comparison of the current task flow path to historical task flows. A suggestion is displayed to the user based on the candidate task flow node.

The socket layer component receives data from a sender over a network, and defragments and reassembles the data for multiplexing and distributing data portions into multiple channels according to the data formats the data portions resemble. The channel layer component includes channels arranged according to the multiple data formats.
