  • Publication number: 20230069987
Abstract: A computerized method and system is provided for generating and presenting to a user behavioral insights impacting health outcomes for a person with diabetes. The method comprises scoring responses to one or more patient reported outcome (PRO) survey instruments completed by the user. The scoring generates one or more scores that measures the extent to which the person is experiencing a different social, financial, emotional, or psychological issue. The method also comprises analyzing insulin dosage and/or glucose measurement information to derive adverse health outcomes experienced by the person during a monitored time period. The generated scores and the derived adverse health outcomes are analyzed together to generate one or more behavioral insights that may impact health outcomes for the person. Each behavioral insight may comprise a correlation between one of the derived adverse health outcomes and one or more of the generated scores.

  • Publication number: 20220375558
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are provided for displaying selected patient data on a display screen of a computing device. The systems/devices/methods are configured to display on the display screen a plurality of panels, each panel displaying one or more glucose measurements for a patient recorded at different time periods. User input may be received selecting at least one of a plurality of glucose events and at least one of a plurality of contextual factors. In response, the systems/devices/methods may be further configured to display a subset of panels that exhibit each of the selected glucose events and each of the selected contextual factors.

  • Publication number: 20220301680
Abstract: Methods, systems and devices are provided for dynamically adjusting sensitivity of a computer-implemented detector for detecting missed insulinboluses. The disclosed methods, systems, and devices receive) glucose measurements and insulin dosing information for a user, and analyze the received information to detect whether the user may have ingested food without taking an insulin bolus. The sensitivity level of the detector may be dynamically adjusted based on contextual information regarding the) user to adjust for the users context, circumstances, and/or condition. If the detector detects a possible missed bolus, the detector may generate a user notification.

  • Publication number: 20220172842
Abstract: The techniques described herein relate to computerized methods and apparatus for insulin dosing guidance and decision support for diabetic patients. The techniques can recommend one or more exercises to a diabetic patient. The techniques can recommend adjustments to a diabetes treatment plan based on a diabetic patients planned exercise. The techniques can provide recommendations to a diabetic patient while exercising. The techniques can customize a computerized exercise planning tool that is used to develop an exercise plan for a diabetic patient based on user preference data of the diabetic patient, data indicative of a treatment aspect of the diabetic patient, data indicative of a physiological aspect of the patient, or some combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20170177825
Abstract: A method of determining a level of hypoglycemic unawareness displayed by a patient is provided. The method includes maintaining, in a data storage device in communication with one or more processors, a data structure including one or more glucose concentrations correlated to one or more subject prompts. The method also includes receiving, by the one or more processors, a glucose concentration. The method includes determining, by the one or more processors, a query based upon the received glucose concentration and the data structure. The method includes transmitting, to a user interface device in communication with the one or more processors, the query. The method includes receiving, by the one or more processors, a patient response to the transmitted query. The method includes determining, by the one or more processors, level of hypoglycemic unawareness of the patient based at least upon the patient response.
