  • Patent number: 5313797
Abstract: A rotary power transformer employing the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine as the fluid medium for transforming pressure into a rotative motion. It includes a circular housing and a central hollow driven shaft extendable through and rotatable relative to the housing. A central rotor of generally cylindrical shape has a plurality of equispaced vanes on the outer periphery thereof. A rotor boss is nestably received at opposite sides of each vane of the rotor. The rotor side walls are fixed to the driven shaft. An outer stator circumscribes and is in spaced relationship with the rotor for defining a circular expansion chamber between the stator and rotor and has a plurality of equispaced inwardly facing vanes defining on the inboard periphery of the stator.

  • Patent number: 4791896
Abstract: In an internal combustion type engine having a piston disposed within a cylinder, a plurality of ceramic cylinder inner surface sections are provided for covering surfaces of the cylinder chamber and the piston which are directly exposed to the ignited combustion gases as the piston travels through its stroke. Same are for the protection of the metal structure of the engine from exposure to the heat generated within the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 4774810
Abstract: An arrangement of interrelated automatically responsive accesories for an Otto type internal combustion engine wherein an exhaust driven turbine rotor housing is directly connected to the engine exhaust manifold outlet, with the full exhaust flame kinetic energies impinging with full maximum velocity-thrust force against the turbine rotor vaning, at a flow rate variously intensified by the volumes of oxygen and hydrogen gases being fed to the engine intake in accordance to engine speed and load conditions may determine.

  • Patent number: 4484444
Abstract: Method and apparatus for increasing the intensity of the secondary combustion of an internal combustion engine emission, by the injection of fresh air for the purpose of reducing the carbon monoxide content thereof, while simultaneously increasing the carbon dioxide content thereof, while lessening the polluting effects of the emission, and further in which emission heated air is introduced into the engine emission flow to further enhance the intensity of the secondary combustion reaction.
