  • Patent number: 6967046
Abstract: An adhesive-based sticker for adhering to a surface and incorporating a pocket between the surface and the sticker for insertion of objects into the pocket and removal therefrom. A sticker substrate is provided with a first section and a flap section with a fold line therebetween. An adhesive is provided on at least a portion of the back surface, and upon folding the flap section at the fold line, the back surface of the flap section is adhered to a portion of the back surface of the first section. When the sticker substrate is applied to a mounting surface, a pocket is formed between the sticker substrate and the mounting surface in registry with at least the portion of the flap section adhered to the first section. The pocket so formed may be bound around the entire perimeter excluding the fold line or may be a through-pocket.
