  • Patent number: 11931294
Abstract: A treatment probe for treating an eye of a patient includes an elongate body that defines a handle and a treatment fiber that is housed within the elongate body. The treatment fiber is configured to deliver treatment light energy to the eye. A contact member is disposed on an end of the elongate body. The contact member has a contact surface for positioning on a surface of the eye, two side edges that are positioned on opposite sides of the contact surface, and a fluid channel. The contact surface conforms to the shape of the eye's sclera and the two side edges are shaped to direct fluid that is present on the surface of the eye toward the fluid channel when the contact member is moved laterally across the surface of the eye. The fluid aggregates within the fluid channel and contacts a distal end of the treatment fiber.

  • Publication number: 20240076637
Abstract: Methods for labeling and imaging the accessible genome using a transposase are disclosed. In some embodiments, a bifunctional transposase complex or transposome is used to insert adaptors comprising chemical tags selectively at accessible sites in the genome where active regulatory DNA is located. Various chemical tags can be used for labeling DNA at insertion sites, including, for example, fluorescent dyes for fluorescence imaging, metal particles for electron microscopy or magnetic manipulation of DNA, isotopic labels, or biotin or other ligands, haptens, substrates, or inhibitors that are recognized by streptavidin, antibodies, enzymes, or receptors. Labeling DNA in this manner can be used to provide spatial information regarding the positioning of regulatory DNA in the genome and makes possible the imaging and sorting of cells based on the status of their regulatory DNA.

  • Patent number: 11902316
Abstract: A cybersecurity assessment system is provided for monitoring, assessing, and addressing the cybersecurity status of a target network. The cybersecurity assessment system can analyze the scan data and determine a degree to which the current status of the target network satisfies a particular cybersecurity readiness standard, and how the status changes over time. The cybersecurity assessment system can also transform large amounts of vulnerability scan data into efficient representations for use in providing interactive presentations of the vulnerabilities detected on the target network. The cybersecurity assessment system can also provide information regarding cybersecurity events in substantially real time.

  • Patent number: 11880666
Abstract: A description of a conversation may be generated to allow a person to understand important aspects of the conversation without needing to review the conversation. The conversation description may be generated by identifying one or more events that occurred in the conversation and then generating the description using the identified events. A set of possible events may be determined in advance for a particular application. The events may be identified by using an event neural network for each event. Each event neural network may process the messages of the conversation to generate an event score that indicates a match between the conversation and the corresponding event. The event scores may then be used to select one or more events. Message scores from the event neural network of a selected event may then be used to select one or more messages of the conversation as a rationale for the selected event.

  • Patent number: 11811734
Abstract: An HTTP connection between a client computing device and an application is established through a reverse proxy. A response to the client computing device includes a payload instructing initiation of a non-HTTP connection (e.g., TCP, UDP). The response is modified to replace references to an original port with a dynamic port allocated to the non-HTTP connection and a temporary ACL entry is created. A subsequent connection request addressed to the dynamic port is authorized per the ACL, modified to replace the dynamic port with the original port, and forwarded to the application. Subsequent packets for the non-HTTP connection have port numbers translated between the original and dynamic ports.

  • Patent number: 11610064
Abstract: A user of an automated natural language system may submit an ambiguous or incomplete request, and interactive techniques may be used to obtain clarification information from the user and then determine a response for presentation to the user. A user's initial request may be processed to compute a category score for each possible category of request. The category scores may be processed to determine if clarification of the request is needed. Where clarification is needed, one or more tags may be selected to determine a clarification question to be presented to the user. For example, a tag clarification score may be computed for each tag that indicates a value of the tag in clarifying the request. After receiving the clarification information from the user, one or more categories may be selected or, where needed, additional clarification information may be obtained.
