    Abstract: Copolymers of TFE with fluorinated alkyl ethylenes which contain ether linkages are provided. The copolymers are thermally stable and useful as electrical insulation. Some of the copolymers contain functional groups and are hydrolyzable to fluorinated copolymers which contain acid functional groups. Novel monomers and precursors thereof are also provided.
