  • Publication number: 20230054446
Abstract: Various systems, computer-readable media, and computer-implemented methods of providing improved data privacy, anonymity and security by enabling subjects to which data pertains to remain “dynamically anonymous,” i.e., anonymous for as long as is desired—and to the extent that is desired—are disclosed herein. Embodiments include systems that create, access, use, store and/or erase data with increased privacy, anonymity, and security—thereby facilitating the availability of more qualified and accurate information. When personal data is authorized by data subjects to be shared with third parties, embodiments described herein may facilitate the sharing of information in a dynamically-controlled manner that also enables the delivery of temporally-, geographically-, and/or purpose-limited information to the receiving party. In one example, the disclosed techniques may be used to functionally separate geospatial information, such that it remains “dynamically anonymous,” i.e.

  • Publication number: 20150193482
Abstract: Information containing peoples' opinion from unstructured sources on a variety of topics of interest is collected and analyzed. These unstructured sources include but are not limited to social media information on the Internet. The collected data is cleansed and sent to an analysis system to determine, among other things, the topics of discussion (including multi-word topics of discussion), the co-occurring topics of discussion for each topic of discussion identified and the sentiment for each. • Publication number: 20110191372
Abstract: A computer-based method for generating intelligence from social media data, such as blog data, that is publicly available on the Internet. A server is provided that runs a tribe analysis tool, and the method includes accessing a set of the social media data with the tribe analysis tool. The social media data is associated with a plurality of network users or authors. The method continues with operating the tribe analysis tool to identify members of a tribe from the authors by processing the set of social media data to determine the authors having associated portions of the social media data that satisfies tribe membership criteria. Common interests for the identified members of the tribe are determined by processing the social media data associated with the tribe authors. A report is generated for the tribe that includes information related to the set of common interests and additional generated tribe-based intelligence.

  • Publication number: 20060053156
Abstract: Systems and methods for analysis and generating reports presenting analysis involving capturing unstructured data from online information services. Speaker attributes and semantic attributes associated with items of the captured data are determined. The captured data, speaker attributes, and semantic attributes are analyzed to generate processed information based on the captured data. A report is generated to present the processed information.

  • Patent number: 5907800
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for detecting potential subscriber dissatisfaction and preventing termination by subscribers of telecommunication services providers. One embodiment of the apparatus includes an interface for receiving information regarding a subscriber. A processing device then utilizes the information to determine if the subscriber is likely to terminate his subscription. An output device is used to initiate action to prevent a subscriber who may be likely to terminate from terminating his subscription. Another embodiment of the apparatus includes a device for using rate plan information to determine if a subscriber is likely to terminate his subscription.
