  • Patent number: 11391530
Abstract: A rifle or portable firearm assembly (e.g., 310) configured to work with user-actuable sensors and systems (e.g., S1-S4), comprises a removable receiver assembly 312 attached to and responsive to a trigger assembly 50 which are removably received in a stock or chassis 316 having a middle section 324 with a trigger motion sensing sidewall segment with at least one trigger motion sensor (e.g., 340L, 340R) which does not physically contact or attach to the trigger assembly and is instead spaced from every component of the trigger assembly when the receiver is installed in said stock or chassis. The trigger motion sensor is configured to sense, from a selected standoff distance, without contacting or interfering the trigger assembly in any way, at least one of (a) the trigger's first stage movement or (b) actuation of a safety lever, and generate a “trigger motion sensed” signal in response thereto.

  • Publication number: 20050161155
Abstract: Tank treads, brake linings, rifles stocks, and other devices requiring the bonding of metal to non-adherent materials such as elastomers, non-elastomers, polymers, adhesives and slurried materials, with a layer of metal foam interposed between the metal. and the non-adherent material.

  • Patent number: 6862732
Abstract: A data processing system that enables event modules to transmit event data to a module capable of processing the event data, generating a response, and when required producing a response profile to be sent to a location. The response is produced by the system executing one or more scripts to perform processing and gather data from processing modules. As the response is being generated by the execution of the script, the scripts self-modify based upon the data gathered. The system recognizes the necessary changes and dynamically generates a response to the changes. If the response profile must be transmitted to another location, the response profile will be in a format that the receiving location will recognize.

  • Patent number: 5460449
Abstract: The invention is an in-line mixer without moving parts, with a generally conical shear head pointed in the upstream direction within a pipe, and centered near the downstream side of an annular seating ring fastened to the inside surface of the pipe. In the upstream, slanted face, or high pressure side of the shear head, there is a series of generally circular ports bored through the shear head. The slanted face of the conical shear head extends through the center of the seating ring in the upstream direction, and is adjusted to be located very close to the downstream side of the seating ring. At the downstream end of the slanted face of the shear head is a first sharp, approximately 90 degree edge leading away from the inside surface of the pipe in the downstream direction, which first edge is adjusted to be located very close to the inside surface of the pipe.
