The circular segment may extend around a vertical axis of a vertical interconnect to introduce an inductive circuitry to compensate for an impedance mismatch of the vertical interconnect.

Abstract: A fluid suction device includes an elongate handle having a suction head at its distal end. The suction head extends in opposing directions substantially perpendicularly to the handle. The suction head includes an elongate longitudinal aperture in its outer wall in fluid communication with a suction pump. An absorbent panel covers the longitudinal aperture. When the suction head is applied to a spilled fluid, the wicking action of the absorbent panel and the negative air pressure from the suction pump allows rapid and efficient cleaning of an area affected by a fluid spill. The device also allows for safe and efficient removal of potentially dangerous objects such as broken glass. The device collects fluid in a waste reservoir so that it is easily disposed of.

Abstract: A fluid dispensing system for accurately dispensing precise aliquots of fluid rapidly and efficiently. The system includes a reservoir of fluid and a pump adapted for connection to a reservoir of fluid and for transferring precise aliquots of fluid from the reservoir to an outlet orifice. An inlet tube is provided with a bore therethrough and one open end for fluid communication with a reservoir and the other open end in fluid communication with the pump. An outlet tube is provided having a bore therethrough with one open end forming the outlet orifice for the system and the other open end in fluid communication with the pump. Controls are connected to the pump to precisely regulate the amount of fluid in an aliquot transferred from a reservoir through the inlet tube, pump and outlet tube to the outlet orifice during an operating cycle of the pump.
