  • Publication number: 20110277908
Abstract: A method of sealing a ventilation channel for a pipe is disclosed. The method may include inserting a sealing insert into a ventilation hole of the ventilation channel, applying a vibrational energy to a region between the sealing insert and the ventilation channel, deactivating the vibrational energy once the sealing insert and the ventilation channel are welded together at the region, and forming a flush interface between the sealing insert and the ventilation channel at the ventilation hole.

  • Publication number: 20110277866
Abstract: A method of sealing a ventilation channel for a pipe is disclosed. The method includes inserting a sealing insert into a ventilation hole of the ventilation channel, applying rotational energy to the sealing insert, deactivating the rotational energy to the sealing insert once the sealing insert reaches a threshold position, and separating a first portion of the sealing insert being inserted in the ventilation channel from a second portion of the sealing insert.

  • Publication number: 20060157405
Abstract: A casing defines a cavity that extends along an axis and that has a top, a bottom and axially front and rear ends. The casing is configured to conduct a liquid along a flow path through the cavity from the front end to the rear end. A holding structure in the cavity defines a media chamber that can be filled with media for treating the liquid. The holding structure has a top passageway through which the liquid can flow downwardly into the media chamber and a rear passageway through which the liquid can flow rearwardly out of the media chamber. Blocking structures in the cavity constrain the flow path to extend through the top passageway into the media chamber and through the rear passageway out of the media chamber.

  • Publication number: 20050126988
Abstract: A casing surrounds a horizontal axis to define a cavity. The cavity has a top, a bottom, and axially front and rear ends. The casing is configured to conduct a mixture of a liquid and debris through the cavity from the front end to the rear end. Front and rear walls cap the casing at the front and rear ends. A horizontal outlet tube extends through the rear wall and defines a horizontal outlet channel with a bottom. A transversely-extending weir extends upward from the bottom of the cavity. The weir has a horizontal top edge located above the channel bottom and spaced below the top of the cavity, and further has fluid flow apertures below the channel bottom.

  • Publication number: 20050126989
Abstract: A casing defines a cavity having a top, a bottom and front and rear ends. The casing is configured to conduct a liquid along a flow path through the cavity from the front end to the rear end. A holding structure, in the cavity, defines a chamber that can be filled with coalescing media. The holding structure has a top passageway through which the liquid can flow downwardly into the chamber and a rear passageway through which the liquid can flow rearwardly out of the chamber. Blocking structures constrain the flow path to extend through the top passageway into the chamber.

  • Publication number: 20010034987
Abstract: A utilities terminal for use in a raised floor system is disclosed. The utilities terminal includes a floor tile having an access cavity, a support pan and an upper surface. The support pan is positioned within the access cavity, and has at least one access opening. The utilities terminal further includes a utilities grommet configured to be received within the support pan, and covering at least a portion of the support pan. The utilities terminal further includes a plurality of cover blocks selectively configured and adapted to be received within the support pan, cover the remaining open area of the support pan, and positioned substantially flush to the upper surface of the floor tile.
