    Abstract: An immunological test composition containing a passive hemagglutination indicator and a ferric-specific chelating agent for detecting an antigen or an antibody in a fluid sample such as urine. The test composition applies to both direct hemagglutination and hemagglutination inhibition tests. The ferric-specific chelating agent may be any of phenanthroline, apoferritin, transferrin, deferoxamine and N,N-bis-2-hydroxyethylglycine.
