  • Patent number: 12567614
Abstract: Provided is a battery module and battery rack having enhanced fire safety features. The battery module includes a swelling/pressure sensor that detects swelling of a battery cell. An output signal of the sensor is used to halt operation of a battery rack/battery system containing the battery module and prevent charging and discharging of the battery module. In an embodiment, the battery module uses an AC-to-AC power supply to provide AC frequency power for balancing battery cells of the battery module. In an embodiment, the battery rack includes an internal water fire suppression system that provides battery cooling in the event of a battery cell fire to prevent the spread and/or reigniting of the fire.

  • Patent number: 12476294
Abstract: Provided is a battery module and battery rack having enhanced fire safety features. The battery module includes an applied pressure assembly with integrated sensor that detects swelling of a battery cell. An output signal of the sensor is used to halt operation of a battery system containing the battery module and an output signal of the sensor is used to halt charging and discharging of the battery module. In an embodiment, the battery module uses an AC-to-AC power supply to provide audio frequency power for balancing battery cells of the battery module. In an embodiment, the battery rack includes a directed water fire suppression system that provides battery cooling after a fire to ensure the fire does not reignite.

  • Publication number: 20250255415
Abstract: A bed frame that can be assembled without tools and that may be easily adjusted to provide for more than one mattress height. The frame is formed by side rails having wedges that are inter fit cross rails having receivers to form supporting legs. An extension can be selectively added to or removed from the receivers to change the height of the supporting legs and thus the height of the bed frame. In one option, the cross rails are telescoping in a manner than ensure that a center support associated with a central rail is always positioned in the middle of the frame regardless of whether the frame is configured for a narrow or wide mattress. In another option, the middle of bed is supported by a third cross rail having an adjustable height leg formed from a center wedge and removable receiver.

  • Patent number: 12252047
Abstract: A back pad assembly for a material handling vehicle is provided that includes a back pad, a framework, and a mounting frame. The back pad includes a center portion, a first side portion, and a second side portion. The first side portion defines a first curved profile, and the second side portion defines a second curved profile. The first curved profile and the second curved profile are arranged on laterally-opposing sides of the center portion. The framework includes a first mounting bar and a second mounting bar. The framework is coupled to the back pad. The first and second mounting bars are adjustably supported by the mounting frame to enable the back pad to be selectively mounted at varying heights along the mounting frame.
