  • Patent number: 7739648
Abstract: Structures and methods for forming the same. The method includes providing design information of a design layer. The design layer includes M original design features and N original dummy features. The method further includes (i) creating a cluster of P representative dummy features, P being a positive integer less than N, (ii) performing OPC for the cluster of the P representative dummy features but not for the N original dummy features, resulting in P OPC-applied representative dummy features, and (iii) forming the mask including N mask dummy features. The N mask dummy features are identical. Each mask dummy feature of the N mask dummy features of the mask has an area which is a function of at least an area of an OPC-applied representative dummy feature of the P OPC-applied representative dummy features. The N mask dummy features have the same relative positions as the N original dummy features.

  • Publication number: 20100025111
Abstract: The present invention relates to a measurement-while-drilling tool [2] with a mechanically driven poppet [216] which eliminates the flow of drilling fluid through the tool, and reliance on surface supplied hydraulic force to activate the poppet [216]. The present invention eliminates the pilot valve system, and generates a fluid pulse from a direct drive relationship between a reversible motor [414], actuator [300], and poppet valve [216]. A pulser [200] has a push rod [214] slidably located inside. Poppet [216] is located on the push rod [214]. Actuator [300] is connected to the pulser [200], and has a ball screw [334] mechanically connected [330] to the push rod [214]. An electric motor [414] and gear train is operatively connected [338] [340] [342] to the ball screw [334]. Motor [414] generates linear movement of the poppet [216] in relation to an orifice [112] to restrict flow and generate a pulse.

  • Publication number: 20100002885
Abstract: A system for providing secure communications includes a telecommunications network. The system includes N nodes and a new node in communication with the network to form a session, where N is greater than or equal to three and is an integer. Each node has media streams, and a unique cryptographic media key for each media stream which each node sends to every other node of the session over the telecommunications network. One of the N nodes is a key master which distributes a master key to every other node in the session over the network. Each node encrypts with its own respective media key and the master key each of its media streams. When the new node first joins the session, the new node sends its unique cryptographic media keys for each of its media streams to the N nodes of the session.

  • Patent number: 7584972
Abstract: A golf bag includes a base adapted to receive a ground-rolling device. The ground-rolling device is configured to be detachably connectable with the base. The ground-rolling device includes an axle provided with wheels located substantially at each end of the axle. When the ground-rolling device is connected to the base, the wheels project laterally from either side of the base.

  • Publication number: 20090178887
Abstract: A retractable lifeline safety device usable as heights above the ground. The safety device is attached to the structure on which the worker is performing the task, and a lifeline such as a cable is withdrawn from the housing thereof, the end of which is attached to a belt or harness worn by the worker. The cable may be easily drawn out of the housing in response to the worker moving about normally in the appropriate work space, and the cable is automatically drawn back into the housing of the safety device as the worker draws closer thereto. However, should the worker fall, a brake mechanism within the safety device is automatically engaged by a sprocket and pawl system, stopping the worker's descent.

  • Publication number: 20080272457
Abstract: A structure and a method for forming the same. The structure includes (a) a substrate which includes a top substrate surface which defines a reference direction perpendicular to the top substrate surface, (b) N semiconductor regions on the substrate, and (c) P semiconductor regions on the substrate, N and P being positive integers. The N semiconductor regions comprise dopants. The P semiconductor regions do not comprise dopants. The structure further includes M interconnect layers on top of the substrate, the N semiconductor regions, and the P semiconductor regions, M being a positive integer. The M interconnect layers include an inductor. (i) The N semiconductor regions do not overlap and (ii) the P semiconductor regions overlap the inductor in the reference direction. A plane perpendicular to the reference direction and intersecting a semiconductor region of the N semiconductor regions intersects a semiconductor region of the P semiconductor regions.
