  • Patent number: 4541131
Abstract: An open rectangular frame with object-storing trays slidably and rotatably mounted in spanning relation between the long sides of the frame, and opposite extending supports from said frame which enable the frame to be horizontally oriented across the sides of a bathtub and thus function as a bath accessory, and when only one extended support is used, the same is effective to vertically suspend the frame from the shower nozzle or the like, and thereby contribute to its functioning as a shower accessory, and wherein the trays are appropriately rotated in accordance with the horizontal or vertical orientation of the frame.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 30, 1984
Date of Patent: September 17, 1985
    Inventor: Howard Sussman
  • Patent number: 4524944
Abstract: A device connected at a remote end to a water faucet for metering water through a squeezable tube for watering plants or the like, in which prior art clamps to pinch the tube and thus control the volume of water flow therethrough are replaced by a rotatable cam, which obviates damage, due to pinching, in the tube, and other prior art shortcomings.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 27, 1982
Date of Patent: June 25, 1985
    Inventor: Howard Sussman
  • Patent number: 4446972
Abstract: A plastic injection molded device for storing a hair dryer and other hair-grooming devices, in which opposite laterally extending handles are provided for lifting and transporting the device, and also to serve as a convenient core-like support for wrapping the electrical cord of the dryer in helical turns thereabout.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 12, 1982
Date of Patent: May 8, 1984
    Inventor: Howard Sussman
  • Patent number: 4429796
Abstract: A convenience article of manufacture for use in storing paper clips and other such sundries and positioned, during such use, on a desk, consisting of three or more article-holding units interconnected so that they can be readily lifted as one piece, without coming apart, to thereby facilitate the movement thereof or merely to allow cleaning of the desk surface beneath the interconnected units. The interconnection consists of structural elements having a loose interfit that maintains the units together, and which "interfit" is adapted to bind together to provide a firmer connection during the lifting thereof, and thus be available to obviate the lifted article from disengaging during this crucial period.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 28, 1980
Date of Patent: February 7, 1984
    Inventor: Howard Sussman
  • Patent number: 4321935
Abstract: A convenience article of manufacture intended to enable the polishing of fingernails without third party assistance, in which a tiltable bottle of nail polish is supported on a rotatable cam which in response to selective rotation sets the bottle at an appropriate angular orientation for facilitated removal of the viscous nail polish therefrom.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 18, 1981
Date of Patent: March 30, 1982
    Inventor: Howard Sussman
  • Patent number: 4118084
Abstract: A compartmentalized structure for storing cosmetics or the like having an improved construction permitting vertical stacking with structures similarly constructed, wherein depending legs project into side-by-side positions with upper edges of a mounting recess to minimize sidewise shifting in a multi-tier arrangement of the units while a medially located interconnected male and female projection and notch minimize shifting in all remaining directions.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 3, 1978
    Inventor: Howard Sussman
  • Patent number: 4097020
Abstract: Mounted adjacent the end of a plastic hose remote from its connection to a kitchen sink faucet or other such water source is an improved hose-pinching clamp assembly of the present invention which enables effective watering of remotely located plants. The significant improvement in performance is that the clamp, during normal watering service, is confined to providing a desirable "soft" stream by a pliable sleeve or tube in covering relation over the clamp, said tube maintaining the clamp partially closed upon the hose so as to restrict flow to said "soft" stream. Prior art clamps, in contrast, can inadvertently be opened too much, and may therefore operate with a watering stream that splashes or otherwise is unsuitable for the purposes intended.
