    Abstract: A short annular body for supporting the base of the penis during Jelq and other exercises to strengthen and enlarge this organ. The annular body, formed of a rubbery material, has rounded ends and a beveled portion disposed symmetrically about a central opening. Juxtaposed between the rounded ends, the beveled portion has tapered inner and outer surfaces, which diverge slightly from each other, reaching their greatest divergence midway along the axial length of the annular body. Prior to use, the consumer slides the annular body along the flaccid penis until the beveled portion contacts the crotch. With the annular body so positioned, the base of the penis is supported and ready for exercise. Since the user no longer has to hold its base with his fingers, he can then stroke the penis along its full length without interference from the holding hand, providing for more comfortable and efficient exercise.

At least one of the channels includes a reinforcement structure providing additional support to the apparatus. The reinforcement structure is tapered. A forearm extension may also include a reinforcement structure. The endcaps may have interior spacers that provide clearance for the sidewalls of the channels, which may be fabricated without parting lines.

    Abstract: A seismic expansion joint cover includes a floor bridge panel having mutually perpendicular elongated U-shaped bearing receiver guideways adjacent its opposite ends slidably supported by linear bearings affixed to the floor portions on opposite sides of the gap. The receiver guideways are open vertically to allow the floor bridge cover to displace vertically. A cover plate frame defines the boundaries of a floor recess that receives portions of the floor bridge panel in all relative positions of the floor portions as the width of the gap changes. The portion of the floor bridge panel that overlies the gap is covered by a first floor cover plate, and the recess and the remaining portion of the floor bridge plate are covered by a second floor cover plate, which is supported by the cover plate frame and by the portion of the floor bridge panel that it overlies. The second cover plate is resiliently attached to the cover plate frame so that it can lift up and ride over the first cover plate when the gap narrows.

Each coupling portion is substantially longitudinally coextensive with the tread-supporting web portion and extends generally laterally outwardly from the tread-supporting web portion.
