  • Publication number: 20250238063
Abstract: A system for controlling an electric infrastructure includes one or more interfaces coupled to one or more stations. The stations are operable to receive first electric energy via a bus. Each station is operable to receive the first electric energy from a power supply and to transmit second electric energy to one or more entities. Each station is operable to transmit third electric energy back towards the bus. A controller system includes the one or more interfaces and a controller. The controller system includes one or more hardware processors that detect an existence of a fault within the electric infrastructure, determine a faulty type, and based on the faulty type, adjust an operation of a particular station of the stations to compensate for the fault. The fault indicates an outage or performance loss.

  • Publication number: 20250105726
Abstract: A system comprises one or more sensors for determining sensor data, the sensor data including ambient parameters internal to the enclosure; a controller comprising one or more sensor interfaces configured to communicate with one or more sensors to receive the sensor data; one or more processors; and memory storing computer instructions configured to perform: determining, based on the sensor data, an existence or probability of condensation within the enclosure; and decreasing a dead time of the one or more soft switching mechanisms based on the existence or probability of condensation within the enclosure, the decreasing the dead time increasing heat in the converter circuitry to assist in addressing the existence or probability of condensation.

  • Publication number: 20240380204
Abstract: A controller system reduces destructive harmonic content within a power network system, the power network system comprising one or more distributed energy resources, one or more distributed inverter systems, one or more nonlinear loads, and a bus coupling the one or more distributed energy resources to the one or more nonlinear loads. The controller system comprises one or more sensors; one or more hardware processors; and memory storing computer instructions, the computer instructions when executed by the one or more hardware processors configured to perform receiving, by the one or more sensors, sensor data indicative of destructive harmonic content of a particular order on the bus; and using a particular distributed energy resource and a particular distributed inverter system to inject constructive harmonic content to reduce the destructive harmonic content.

  • Publication number: 20230402936
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for controlling a solid state transformer (SST), the SST comprising an AC-to-DC stage, a DC-to-AC stage, and a DC-to-DC stage coupled between the AC-to-DC stage and the DC-to-AC stage, the DC-to-DC stage comprising one or more DC-to-DC converters. The system comprises a stored energy controller coupled to the AC-to-DC stage, the energy controller configured to control the total amount of stored energy within the capacitors of the SST; a power flow controller coupled to the DC-to-AC stage, the power flow controller configured to control power flow in the SST; and one or more energy balancing controllers each coupled to a corresponding DC-to-DC converter, each energy balancing controller configured to balance energy in the corresponding DC-to-DC converter. In some embodiments, the stored energy controller, the power flow controller and the one or more energy balancing controllers are decoupled from one another.
