    Abstract: A handheld tape dispenser includes a first shell, a second shell releasably secured to the first shell, a spring-actuated tape applying mechanism, a knife, a roll of tape, a roller member, and a tape press roller. The adhesive tape frictionally passes the roller member and a gap between the front platform and the tape press roller to extend out of a front opening. A rearward movement of the button moves blades downward to sever the adhesive tape.
