  • Patent number: 9508331
Abstract: A compositional method, compositional program product and compositional system are provided. The compositional method essentially includes: a pitch input step for allowing a user to enter pitch marks sequentially displayed on a display unit; and a beat input step for providing a hint signal at each beat in accordance with a predetermined tempo so that in a hint state the user sequentially inputs action signals in accordance with a rhythm, wherein points in time corresponding to the action signals are sequentially regarded as points in time of the pitch marks, and the pitch marks which the points in time are allocated to are sequentially defined as completed notes, thereby forming a musical composition. The compositional program product is executed by an electronic device to effectuate the compositional method. The compositional system effectuates composing in conjunction with a pitch input interface and a beat input interface of the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20150325225
Abstract: A musical composition method, a musical composition program product, and a musical composition system are disclosed in the invention. The composition method comprises two main steps: a pitch input step enables the user to enter pitch symbols that displayed on a display device; a beat input step that provides the user a prompt signal on each beat based on predetermined tempo enables the user to input action signals based on desired rhythm. The time points of action signals are assigned as the time points for the corresponding pitch symbols. After assigning their time points, the pitch symbols are regarded as completed notes and form a song. The composition program product can be executed on an electronic device, performing the steps of the aforesaid composition method. The composition system utilizes a pitch input interface and a beat input interface on an electronic device to provide musical composition functions.

  • Patent number: 9124819
Abstract: A watermark and a manufacturing method therefor are provided. The watermark has a first region comprising amplitude modulation (AM) halftone dots and a second region comprising frequency modulation (FM) halftone dots, and each of the amplitude modulation halftone dots has ink portions and blank portions, each of which is located between the two ink portions in the same amplitude modulation halftone dot. The ink area percentage of the amplitude modulation halftone dots are dispersed by filling the blank portions into each of the amplitude modulation halftone dots, so that the density calibration of the amplitude modulation halftone dots and frequency modulation halftone dots can be omitted.

  • Patent number: 7554699
Abstract: A method of watermark with hybrid halftone dots that is suitable for a printed shadow image. The watermark patterns that are composed of amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency modulation (FM) halftone dots (their concentration has been calibrated) cannot be perceived beyond a certain distance by the human eye. This is done through outputting the density calibration chart to choose the proper density parameters, which are applied to the manufacture process of the watermark with hybrid halftone dots. The hidden patterns of a watermark need to be pre-processed first, and thereby making the image blocks of AM and FM halftone dots to be combined smoothly. The copy machine, the lenticular lens and the optical scanner can detect the hidden watermark in the printed shadow image. Each secured document possesses a different serial number to achieve the document-version control.
