  • Publication number: 20030106583
Abstract: A safety apparatus is disclosed to include a main body having a chamber, a pin installed in the chamber, and a thermally-sensitive fragile member. The chamber has a top opening, a bottom opening and through holes communicating with outside. A supporting piece is mounted inside the chamber adjacent to the bottom opening. The pin has a base portion and a body portion which is fit with a spring and runs through the top opening of the main body. The thermally-sensitive fragile member has an end positioned on the supporting piece and the other end holding against the pin. When the thermally-sensitive fragile member is shattered at a predetermined temperature, the pin will be driven by a rebounding resilience of the spring to move inwardly into the chamber. The safety apparatus is completely properly for use in a gas switch and a fire alarm device.

  • Patent number: 5983728
Abstract: A pressure gauge has a base which is provided with a slot, and a sliding block located in the slot such that the sliding block is pushed to displace by a piston rod which is in turn pushed by the air pressure to be measured. The sliding block is provided with a plurality of teeth for actuating a rotary shaft and a hand fastened at one end thereof with the rotary shaft. The hand is actuated to turn to point at an air pressure reading. The base is provided with a threaded hole, an adjusting screw engaged with the threaded hole, and a spring which is engaged at one end thereof with the sliding block and at other end thereof with the adjusting screw. The pressure gauge is calibrated by adjusting the position of the adjusting screw in the threaded hole.

  • Patent number: 4845980
Abstract: A tire pressure gauge includes as in the prior art a cylindrical housing securing thereto a tubular member securing thereto a first measuring head, a piston rod, a spiral spring, a sectorial plate capable of being pivoted by the rod, a pinion meshing with the plate, a scale plate, and a needle connected to the pinion wherein the improvement is that the gauge further includes a soft tube having a first end detachably connected to the first measuring head and a second end connected to a second measuring head. Such gauge can conveniently measure the air pressure of inner wheels of a truck or a bus with the second measuring head without the need of bringing the cylindrical housing into the bottom of the bus.

  • Patent number: 4574629
Abstract: It is a new tire pressure gauge, which comprises a ventilation pin, a compressed spring to control the air flowing in or out of the gauge; the air entered the gauge will push a pressure piston moving along a scale housing, and the point where the pressure piston stops will indicate the tire pressure.
