  • Publication number: 20050056482
Abstract: A tail pipe includes a hollow body, two external fittings and an optional illuminating assembly. The hollow body has an outer periphery on which each external fitting is mounted. Each external fitting has a side face that faces outward from the body and a protrusion formed with a given shape and extending from the side face. The illuminating assembly is mounted in the body and has two arms extended out of the body and having multiple illuminating members to illuminate the external fittings to be visible in a dark place. Therefore, the external fittings provide a decoration for the tail pipe to make that to look more attractive. Also, the external fittings provide a visible signal to alert someone who is near the tail pipe to keep a distance from the tail pipe to avoid getting burned by the hot tail pipe.

  • Publication number: 20050056483
Abstract: A tail pipe includes a body, two internal fittings and an optional illuminating assembly. The body has an inner passage and two windows defined through the body. Each internal fitting is mounted in the inner passage of the body, and corresponds to one of the windows, and has a side face that faces the window and a protrusion formed from the side face. The protrusions are received in the windows and extend partially out of the window. The illuminating assembly is mounted in the inner passage of the body and has multiple illuminating members to light the internal fittings to be visible in a dark place. Therefore, the internal fittings will provide a decoration for the tail pipe to make that look more attractive and also provide a visible signal to alert someone who is adjacent to the tail pipe to the danger of being burned.

  • Publication number: 20050056116
Abstract: A gearshift knob includes a body and a solid pattern. The body has a grip and a top. The solid pattern is formed either on the top or the grip of the body and could be a company logo, significant symbol, trademark etc. Consequently, the solid pattern makes the gearshift knob to be more frictional and provides an improved feeling to prevent a situation of the gearshift slipping out of a hand when a driver holds the gearshift knob to change gears. Also, the solid pattern makes the gearshift knob more attractive to consumers. Furthermore, because the solid pattern could be a company logo or trademark, the gearshift knob with the solid pattern will promote the company image to the consumers.
