  • Patent number: 9466272
Abstract: A cajón playing device consists essentially of a bottom plate, a mallet assembly, and a pedal lever. The mallet assembly is mounted on the bottom plate and has a rotating shaft, a mallet fixedly connected to the rotating shaft so as to pivot simultaneously with the rotating shaft when the rotating shaft is rotated, and a transmission member fixedly connected to the rotating shaft and extending toward the bottom plate. The pedal lever has a middle section pivotally provided on a lateral side of the bottom plate, one end connected to the extending end of the transmission member, and the opposite end bent into a curved foot-operated portion. When the foot-operated portion is operated, the pedal lever is pivoted and drives the transmission member to rotate the rotating shaft such that the mallet fixedly connected to the rotating shaft is pivoted and strikes the striking surface of a cajón.

  • Patent number: 8884145
Abstract: A percussion device of a cajon includes a base with a bottom plate, two upright columns on the same side of the bottom plate, a pedal pivotally coupled to the bottom plate, a pivot horizontally pivoted to the top of the two upright columns, a hammer fixed to an outer segment of the pivot, a restoring tension spring for restoring the position of the pivot after rotation, a link member coupled between first and second ends of the pedal. When the second end of the pedal is stepped downward, the first end is warped to link the link member to rotate the pivot while stretching the restoring tension spring, and the hammer swings with the rotation of the pivot. After the pedaling force disappears, the restoring tension spring pulls the pivot to rotate and link the link member to swing the first end downward and restore its original position.

  • Patent number: 8835735
Abstract: A foldable musical instrument pedal device having a positioning element hung at a base board. The positioning element is drooped when the base board stays in air, and a first stop portion is swung downwardly with a support frame and across a second stop portion from an external side of the base board to an internal side of the base board. When the base board is placed on a ground, each second stop portion is propped out from the base board to block the first stop portion in an upward swinging direction of the support frame, so as to fix the support frame to the fixed base.

  • Patent number: 7671262
Abstract: This specification discloses an adjusting mechanism of an instrument pedal that is pivotally disposed on a pivotal axis of a base to sway along the radial direction of the pivotal axis. The adjusting mechanism has a foundation. There is an arc surface around the radial direction of the pivotal axis outside the foundation. A sliding groove is formed along the radial direction of the arc surface. A fixed hole is formed on the pivotal axis corresponding to the sliding groove. One end of the fixing element goes through the sliding groove and connects to the fixing hole. The other end of the fixing element engages with the arc surface on both sides of the sliding groove for fixing the adjusting mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7629525
Abstract: A pedal assembly includes a pedal, a base and two frames, a chain is connected between the front end of the pedal and a locking member on the shaft of the base. The rear end of the pedal is pivotably connected to the heel plate so that the pedal is pivotable along the stepping direction. The heel plate and the base are positioned by the respective frames which are fixed to the base and the heel plate by screws. By using the screws, the pedal assembly is stable and made at less material. The frames can be adjusted back and forth to meet different users' needs such that the different sizes of the feet of the users can operate the pedal assembly efficiently.
