  • Patent number: 8659299
Abstract: A battery voltage measurement system is disclosed. The system includes a measurement unit, a calibration unit, and a control unit. The calibration unit is coupled between the measurement unit and a battery, for providing several test voltages to the measurement unit. The control unit is coupled to the calibration unit and the measurement unit, for controlling the calibration unit and for receiving an output voltage of the measurement unit. Under a calibration mode, the calibration unit outputs test voltages to the measurement unit, and the control unit calculates a calibration value according to a relation between the test voltages and the output voltage of the measurement unit. Under a measurement mode, the calibration unit transmits a battery voltage to the measurement unit, and the control unit calibrates the output voltage of the measurement unit according to the calibration value for acquiring accurate value of the battery voltage.

  • Patent number: 8441234
Abstract: A detecting module is for detecting a battery equalizer of a power supply device. The detecting module includes a current detecting unit, a drive circuit, and a control circuit. The current detecting unit is to be coupled to the battery equalizer and a battery set of the power supply device, and generates an output based on detected current flow through the battery equalizer. The drive circuit is to be coupled to the battery equalizer for driving operation of the battery equalizer. The control circuit is coupled to the drive circuit and the current detecting unit, controls the drive circuit to drive operation of the battery equalizer and determines, according to the output of the current detecting circuit, whether the battery equalizer is in a normal operating state.

  • Patent number: 8174206
Abstract: A controlled lighting system includes an encoding device and a lamp. The encoding device includes a rectifier for rectifying an AC voltage input to result in a rectified signal, and an encoder for generating an encoded signal from the rectified signal and display data. The encoded signal has consecutive signal regions with a waveform of a positive half-cycle of an AC sinusoidal wave or a low potential. The lamp includes a LED unit and a decoding device. The decoding device includes a direct current converter for extracting a direct current voltage from the encoded signal, a detecting circuit for extracting a wave signal from the encoded signal, a processor for generating decoded data related to a light-emitting operation according to the wave signal, and a driver for driving the LED unit according to the direct current voltage from the direct current converter and the decoded data from the processor.
