  • Patent number: 7607887
Abstract: A fan frame includes a main body (10) and conducting wires (40) secured on the main body. The main body has a securing tab (30) extending from an outer surface thereof. The securing tab has a free end. A groove (32) for the wires to extend through is defined between the securing tab and the outer surface of the main body. At least a block (35) extends from the outer surface of the main body. A space (80) for receiving the wires therein is defined between the block, the securing tab and the outer surface of the main body. A guiding surface (352) is formed on the block from a bottom end towards a top end of the block for guiding the wires to move into the space.

  • Patent number: 7304446
Abstract: A sensorless and brushless motor is disclosed including a stator, a rotor, a control circuit and an induction coil (50). The stator includes a stator core (30) and a stator coil (34) wound around the stator core. The rotor includes a rotor magnet (40). The control circuit is electrically connected with the stator coil for controlling a current energizing the stator coil. The induction coil is mounted to the stator and electrically connected with the control circuit. When the rotor rotates, the induction coil is capable of outputting a signal to the control circuit and in response to the signal, the control circuit is capable of changing a direction of the current flowing in the stator coil. Thus, the commutation control for the stator coil is performed by the induction coil and the conventional Hall sensor is eliminated.

  • Publication number: 20040245873
Abstract: A motor having a magnetic oil seal structure comprises a bearing sleeve, an oil-retaining bearing, a coil set, a rotor, a fastening ring, a magnet and magnetic fluid. The bearing sleeve has a receiving space. The oil-retaining bearing is received in the receiving space. The coil set is slipped outside the bearing sleeve. The rotor has an axis rotatably inserted into an axial hole of the oil-retaining bearing. The fastening ring is fastened on the axis and located above the oil-retaining bearing. The magnet is above the fastening ring. The magnetic fluid is provided between the magnet and the axis of the rotor. Magnetic force between the magnetic fluid and the magnet lets the magnetic fluid be tightly absorbed in the gap between the axis and the magnet to form a magnetic oil seal circuit, hence preventing the oil-retaining bearing from losing oil and greatly increasing its lifetime of use.
