  • Patent number: 8064108
Abstract: A full-zone optical image addressing apparatus, including an addressing device, an image extraction converter, a comparator, an AND gate and a counter. The addressing device is located at the enclosure of the scanner and includes a plurality of geometric patterns. Each of the geometric patterns includes a plurality of rows of pixels. While receiving an exposure signal, the image extraction converter extracts one row of pixels from the addressing device, such that a series of analog signals is obtained and output to the comparator. The comparator then compares the series of analog signals to an analog critical voltage to output a series of analog comparison signals to the AND gate. The AND gate synchronously processes the series of analog comparison signals and a pixel rate clock to output the pixel data corresponding to the extracted row of pixels to the counter.

  • Publication number: 20110240536
Abstract: A floor drain cover includes a draining frame, a net-shaped disk mounted in the top wall of the draining frame, a fixing bracket mounted on the draining frame, a movable lid pivotally mounted on the fixing bracket and movable relative to the draining frame, and a rubber pad mounted on the movable lid and movable to seal the bottom wall of the draining frame. Thus, when the ambient waste water in the floor drain flows toward the draining frame, the movable lid is pressed by the pressure of the ambient waste water so that the movable lid moves the rubber pad to seal the bottom wall of the draining frame, thereby preventing the ambient waste water in the floor drain from flowing backward, and preventing the floor from being contaminated by the ambient waste water.

  • Patent number: 7847987
Abstract: A method is disclosed as including scanning a first pixel of an image with a primary scanning line of a sensor, and scanning a second pixel of the image with a secondary scanning line of the sensor, wherein the first pixel is separated from the second pixel by a pitch of one or more scan lines. A compensation value is determined for one or more pixels of the image, wherein the compensation value is determined based, at least in part, on a mathematical operation comprising pixel values associated with the first and second pixels and the pitch. The method further includes compensating the one or more pixel values based, at least in part, on the compensation value, wherein the compensation value compensates for a reflection of light between the first and second scanning lines when the first and second pixels are scanned.

  • Patent number: 7710612
Abstract: A method of effacing zipper image, applicable to scan a document by a scanner with a stagger charge-coupled device. The nth (n is a positive integer) pixel value obtained by scan on a scan line at which the zipper image is produced is subtracted by the (n+1)th pixel value obtained by scan on the scan line. The absolute value of the result is then compared to a critical value. If the result is smaller than the critical value, the nth pixel is modified by the method.

  • Patent number: 7515317
Abstract: A method of compensating a zipper image by a K-value, and a method of calculating the K-value. Whether the nth primitive pixel of the mth line is obtained by primary line scan is determined. If the nth primitive pixel of the mth line is obtained by primary line scan, the nth primitive pixel of the mth line is compensated as the nth primitive pixel of the mth line minus a sum of the (n?1)th primitive pixel of the (m?k)th line and the (n+1 )th primitive pixel of the (m?k)th line multiplied by the K-value. If the nth primitive pixel of the mth line is obtained by secondary line scan, the nth primitive pixel of the mth line is compensated as the nth primitive pixel of the mth line minus a multiplication of the K-value and a sum of the (n?1)th primitive pixel of the (m+k)th line and the (n+1)th primitive pixel of the (m+k)th line.
