The image capturing module is disposed on the main body and configured to capture an image of the measured object, which contains the laser speckle. The angle detecting mechanism is configured to detect an angular displacement of the main body from a starting position and generate angle data. The processing-control unit is configured to receive the image containing the laser speckle and the angle data to control rotation of the main body. A distance between the main body and the measured object is determined by using a triangulation method.
