  • Publication number: 20130103872
Abstract: A computer apparatus and a method for distributing interrupt tasks thereof are provided. The computer apparatus has a plurality of CPUs and a chipset, and the chipset is electrically coupled to each of the CPUs. The chipset is configured for receiving an interrupt request sent from an external hardware device and judging whether or not a task type corresponding to the interrupt request has ever been performed by any one of the CPUs. If a judging result thereof is yes, the chipset assigns the interrupt request to the CPU that has ever performed the task type, so as to perform a corresponding interrupt task.

  • Patent number: 8418407
Abstract: A safety gate has two frame assemblies, a shaft fixing assembly and a stretcher assembly. A relative distance between the two frame assemblies is fixed by the shaft fixing assembly first. The stretcher assembly further pushes the two frame assemblies outwardly so that the two frame assemblies tightly abut against two walls of a mounting premise and can be held on the walls securely. When the safety gate is not in use, the stretcher assembly is released to loosen the safety gate from the walls and the stretcher assembly can be moved to elsewhere. As the safety gate can be repeatedly mounted without having to readjust the relative distance between the two frame assemblies with the shaft fixing assembly, the operation of the safety gate is easy and convenient.

  • Publication number: 20130089386
Abstract: A variable-tooth-thickness worm-type tool comprises a main body and a spiral blade distributed on the main body and featuring variable tooth thickness. The main body and the spiral blade are respectively described with a rack cutter coordinate system and a tool coordinate system. The vector parameters based on the rack cutter coordinate system are transformed into vector parameters based on the tool coordinate system so as to simulate the main body with a rack cutter and develop the spiral blade to have variable tooth thickness. Thus, when a gear blank is tooled, the distance between the centers of the tool holder and the workpiece holder can be set as a constant, and the feed in the radial degree-of-freedom can be neglected, with twists of tooth flanks being inhibited.

  • Patent number: 8403521
Abstract: A structurally improved flashlight includes a handle coupled to a main body at a bottom of the main body. The handle has a trigger assembled between a pair of housing parts. The trigger is formed with a zigzag room that is communicated with openings formed at two laterals of the trigger for accommodating a safety mechanism. A magnet provided at an upper surface of the trigger is to removably engage a reed switch installed on the flashlight main body. A spring is deposited between the trigger and the two housing parts, so as to enable the trigger to resiliently move to and fro. The trigger is for conveniently switching the flashlight among different illumination phases, such as light intensity, blinking and on/off status. The structurally improved flashlight is also designed to be held in a certain illumination phase temporarily, so as to prevent unintentional change of the set illumination phase.

  • Publication number: 20130067874
Abstract: A dust collection device includes a machine body that forms an air chamber and a chassis arranged below the machine body. The chassis receives therein a dust collection tank. A mechanics case that contains a motor and blower assembly is arranged at one side of the machine body. The mechanics case includes a partition board to divide the mechanics case into an inlet flow channel communicating the air chamber and an outlet flow channel for discharging air. The partition board forms an air vent hole in communication with the outlet flow channel. A block unit is provided on the partition board and includes a block plate that selectively blocks the air vent hole. When a fire occurs inside the air chamber, the partition board prevents the fire flame from being drawn into the mechanics case, and the block plate timely blocks the air vent hole to improve operation safety.

  • Publication number: 20130054134
Abstract: A telematics apparatus for providing driving assistance, and a system and a method are provided. The telematics apparatus receives position information indicating a current position of the telematics apparatus. The telematics apparatus transmits a request signal to the server. According to the request signal, the server obtains the position information, time information indicating a current time of the telematics apparatus, and identification information identifying a user of the telematics apparatus. The telematics apparatus displays driving assistance information received from the server which generates the driving assistance information according to the identification information, the position information, and the time information by searching through a route usage history of a plurality of routes and referring to a plurality of reference values of the routes. The reference value of each route indicates the telematics apparatus user's familiarity with that route.

  • Patent number: 8328384
Abstract: A flashlight mount includes a clamp-type positioning element and an elongate clamping element pivotally connected to an upper section of the clamp-type positioning element. To fasten a flashlight to the mount, an engaging section on a lateral side of the flashlight is inserted into a C-shaped groove on a lateral side of a fastening extension of the elongate clamping element. Once the engaging section is inserted in the C-shaped groove to the greatest extent possible, a limiting recess at one end of the flashlight is engaged with a projection at the corresponding end of the fastening extension to fix the flashlight in position to the elongate clamping element. Then, an object to be clamped is inserted into an insertion space extending laterally into the clamp-type positioning element, before a lower screw rod is rotated upward to secure the clamp-type positioning element to the object in a clamping manner.

  • Publication number: 20120255234
Abstract: A safety gate has a gate frame, a pivotable fence, a latch device and a fence stopper. The gate frame has a base, two side frames and a block formed on the base. The pivotable fence is mounted within the gate frame. One side of the pivotable fence is pivotally mounted within the gate frame by a pivoting element. The latch device has a first pin member and a first latch member respectively having two magnets corresponding to each other. The fence stopper abuts against the block to limit the pivotable fence to be unidirectionally pivotable. The attraction force between the magnets and a restoring force of the pivoting element return the pivotable fence back within the gate frame. The fence stopper and the block abut against each other to avoid the circumstance when the pivotable fence is slammed too hard and the latch device is not securely locked.
