  • Patent number: 6755933
Abstract: A semiconductor process recording apparatus comprises a buffer circuit and a endpoint recording device. The input terminal of the buffer circuit is connected to an external endpoint apparatus for receiving a first signal output from the endpoint apparatus. The output terminal of the buffer circuit is connected to the endpoint recording device for outputting a second signal representative of the first signal in response to the first signal. When receiving the second signal, the endpoint recording device outputs a feedback signal to the buffer circuit on the basis of the second signal. Because the feedback signal is blocked by the buffer circuit, the external endpoint apparatus is protected from the damage caused by the feedback signal, thereby greatly reducing the production cost and rate of semiconductor manufacturing.

  • Patent number: 6718817
Abstract: The present invention herein relates to a sample injection device for micro gas chromatograph is assembled from five layers of thin plates and membrane. The first layer serves as cover plate and interfacial connection to outside columns. The second layer is fabricated with a sample channel and a carrier gas inlet split into an analytical channel and a reference gas channel, and two valve seats. The third layer is a flexible diaphragm for valve actuation. The fourth layer is fabricated with a pressurizing gas inlet hole and pressurizing channel leading to the diaphragms of valve seats. The fifth layer serves as another cover plate. An external solenoid valve is used to control the processes of sampling and injection. The channels and valve seats on each layer plate can be fabricated through several well-developed fabrication techniques such as photolithographic, LIGA processes or precision micro machining. All five layers are properly aligned and bonded by adhesives.

  • Publication number: 20040026607
Abstract: A highly reliable optical add/drop device is described. The optical add/drop device has an external tube and a ring, wherein the external tube and the ring are made of metallic material. A WDM filter is fixed in the ring. The ring is inserted in the external tube at the middle portion and fixed therein by soft solder technique. A single fiber collimator and a dual fiber collimator are respectively coupled with the opposite surfaces of the filter, and aligned in the external tube. Additionally, the single and dual fiber collimators are also fixed therein by soft solder technique, as two metal tubes respectively hold the single and dual fiber collimators.
