Abstract: A hand tool having a protective layer and its manufacturing method are disclosed. It comprises a covered portion and a non-covered portion. An outer surface of the covered portion is disposed with at least one protective layer by plastic injection. An outer surface of the non-covered portion is coated with a thin electroplating layer. Regarding the manufacturing method, the plastic injection technique is utilized to form a protective layer at any desired portion. After which, by the electroplating step, an electroplating layer is formed on the non-covered portion. So, the application scope of this invention's protective layer is wide, it will not waste material, and only enhances the holding feeling but also improves the anti-slip effect.

Abstract: Protective sheath for saw teeth of a handsaw, including a base section, a protective slat and multiple magnetic members. The base section has an upper edge and a lower edge marked with British and metric system scales. The protective slat integrally extends from the lower edge of the base section to define a protective slot. The multiple magnetic members are inlaid in the base section beside the protective slot at predetermined positions for attracting the saw blade. This invention has a better attractively fixing effect. The protective sheath is applicable to different kinds of handsaws with various patterns of handles. In addition, the protective sheath also serves as a ruler.

Abstract: A combined pack for storing tools and apron is disclosed. It comprises a hand held outer layer, an apron inner layer, and at least one tool box. The first connecting portions and the second connecting portions are disposed on the hand held outer layer. The third connecting portions and the fourth connecting portions are disposed on the apron inner layer. So, the hand held outer layer, apron inner layer and the tool box (or two of them) can be combined together as one single pack. It not only is easy to carry, but also can save space. In addition, it is suitable to store unpacked tools, thinner tool box(s) or a thicker tool box. This invention's application scope is wide.

Abstract: A fixed wrench has a handle, and an open end located at one end of the handle and formed of a left jaw and a right jaw. The left jaw and the right jaw are provided respectively with a first actuating surface and a second actuating surface. A first holding portion for holding a first fastening piece is formed by the first actuating surfaces of the left jaw and the right jaw. A second holding portion is formed by the second actuating surfaces of the left jaw and the right jaw for holding a second fastening piece different in size from the first fastening piece.

Abstract: A hand tool having a handle provided with a fastening member for fastening detachably the handle with a blade. The handle is provided with an insertion hole extending along the direction of the longitudinal axis of the handle, and a receiving slot perpendicular to the insertion hole. The insertion hole is intended to receive the fastening end of the blade. The fastening member is located in the receiving slot and composed of a spring, a retaining block and a press block. The blade is detachably fastened with the handle such that the retaining block of the fastening member is removably located in a locating hole of the fastening end of the blade, and that the retaining block can be actuated by the press block to move out of the locating hole of the blade to enable the fastening end of the blade to be pulled out of the insertion hole of the handle.
