    Abstract: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and a liquid crystal display apparatus. The LCD panel comprises a color filter sheet. A liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The color filter sheet includes color regions corresponding to the color filters, respectively, wherein the color regions and the corresponding color filters have the same color.

A part of the transparent dyeable material is retained on the roller, and then imprinted onto a substrate by the roller and forms a black matrix (BM) layer through a dyeing process and a curing process in sequence. The other part of the transparent dyeable material is transferred onto the patterned mold for forming a plurality of softened color resist layers by the dyeing process, and then forms a plurality of color resist layers by a curing process after transferring the softened color resist layers onto the substrate having the BM layer.

The thickness of the first color filter area is bigger than the thickness of the second color filter area, and the thickness of the regions beyond the storage capacitor is equivalent to the minimum value of thickness that retains the color chroma of the pixel array, which enables a pixel to hold the desired potential within a frame cycle while the area of the storage capacitor is diminished. The invention further provides a fabrication method of the pixel array.

Color ink is disposed in the black matrix and is hardened to form the color filter layer. The black matrix and the spacers are integrally formed and made of the black film, which simplifies the manufacturing process of the color filter. Additionally, since the color filter layer is formed by the ink jet printing method, the height of the color filter is unlimited, which allows the black matrix and the spacers to be made of conventional material, and improves the yield rate of the color filter.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel, a color filter (CF) and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed in the present disclosure. The CF comprises a transparent substrate, a black matrix, first CF units, second CF units and a conductive layer. The transparent substrate comprises an active area and a dummy area. The first CF units in the active area have a trapezoidal cross section, and the second CF units in the dummy area have an inverted trapezoidal cross section. The conductive layer covers the active area continuously but covers the dummy area discontinuously; and thus, the active area can perform normal electrical conduction functions while an insulating effect can be achieved in the dummy area. In this way, even if conductive particles are present in the dummy area during the assembling process of the CF and a TFT, the discontinuous conductive layer in the dummy area can still prevent occurrence of abnormal conditions that the CF and the TFT are at the same voltage level.

    Abstract: An LCD exposure stage device is used for placing a substrate thereon, and comprises: a stage having an upper surface contacting with a bottom surface of the substrate; and a plurality of moving pins disposed flat on the upper surface of the stage with pin heads thereof corresponding to side surfaces of the substrate respectively so that the substrate can move horizontally by the moving pins. According to the present disclosure, only the substrate needs to be moved, so the operations are more convenient; and because the stage is always kept at a fixed position, the requirement on its strength can be appropriately lowered. Furthermore, because the substrate contacts with the stage all the time during the moving and exposure processes, and the time necessary for the exposure process is shortened, which make fabrication of the whole LCD panel more efficient.

A photomask and a photoreactive layer for preparing a color resist layer on a color filter substrate are also provided in the present disclosure.
