  • Patent number: 9398286
Abstract: A multi-image capture device capturing images by means of circular motion controls the shift movement, along a semi-circular measuring rod, of a moving mechanism by a location control device. Furthermore, a rotary control device is used to control the positioning and image-capturing angle of a second image capture device fixed on the rotary mechanism. Thereby, a first image capture device and the second image capture device are of a co-circle configuration where the optical axis of the first image capture device and the second image capture device overlap to form a center of the co-circle. Such a configuration can broaden the visual range of the image capture device, and allows quick calibration of the image capture device according to positioning of shift movement and image-capturing angles.

  • Patent number: 7317575
Abstract: A novel dispersion optical system based on at least one grating is provided. The pitches of the grating are linearly modulated so that the incident light is dispersed into different monochromatic light at different diffraction angles. In such a system, an order sorting filter is not required to separate the light of a selected order from the rest of unwanted overlapped order.

  • Patent number: 7149395
Abstract: The present invention provides a light-enhancing component and a fabrication method thereof by using the focused-ion-beam. In the present invention, the surface plasmon polariton structure is coated on the surface of the optical fiber so as to form the light-enhancing component. When the light passes through the optical fiber, the luminous flux transmitted through the aperture on the surface plasmon polariton is enhanced, and the light beam smaller than the diffraction limitation can be transmitted to the far-field, i.e. the nano-optic sword is formed. The light-enhancing component of the present invention can be used for the optical data storage, the optical microscopy, the biomedical detections and the lithography to perform the extra optical resolutions beyond the diffraction limitation.

  • Patent number: 6011402
Abstract: Two-dimensional electric-filed vector is measured in this invention, wherein two linearly polarized laser beams are focused on two different bottom planes of an electro-optic crystal so that two reflected beams from the bottom planes have two different paths inside the electro-optic crystal and thus have different phase retardation when an electric-field is exerted on the electro-optic crystal by a circuit under test. The electric-filed direction of the circuit can be calculated by using two differential signals which are proportional to the phase retardation of the two reflected beams.
