  • Patent number: 9239898
Abstract: In some embodiments, in a method, a netlist is received. The netlist comprises a subcircuit that comprises a device and a rule check module. The rule check module specifies a plurality of terminals of the device subject to an operating space, and at least one parameter that controls a non-rectangular boundary of the operating space. The netlist is simulated to obtain simulation data associated with the terminals of the device. The operating space that has the non-rectangular boundary is formed by using the at least one parameter. The simulation data is checked against the operating space. A situation in which the checked simulation data does not fall within the operating space is reflected.

  • Patent number: 9013436
Abstract: A touch device includes a circuit board, a substrate and a touch-sensing layer. The touch-sensing layer including patterned electrode sets is disposed on the substrate. Each patterned electrode set includes a driving electrode connected to the circuit board and sensing electrodes having wiring lines connected to the circuit board. The wiring lines of each patterned electrode set include first and second groups. The length for one of the wiring lines in the first group is greater than the length for one of the wiring lines in the second group. Diameters of the wiring lines in the first group are greater than diameters of the wiring lines in the second group. The diameter of the longer wiring line is greater than the diameter of the shorter wiring line, in the first group. The diameters in the second group are identical. The total widths of the first and second groups are equal.

  • Patent number: 8086841
Abstract: A BIOS switching system applicable to a computer system is provided. The BIOS switching system includes an input module and a memory module, and the memory module further includes a plurality of BIOS's, an option recording block, and a boot-up management block. The input module produces a switching signal according to a user input. The boot-up management block determines whether replacing an execution option block's data in the option recording block is necessary or not based on the switching signal. The data of the execution option block is identification data of one of the BIOS's. The boot-up management block executes the BIOS indicated by the data of the execution option block while the computer system boots up.

  • Patent number: 5741837
Abstract: A syndiotactic polystyrene composition is improved which exhibits improved crystallization rate. The improved syndiotactic polystyrene composition contains (a) a syndiotactic polystyrene; and (b) a nucleating agent which is selected from the group consisting of two types of compounds represented by the following formulas, respectively: ##STR1## In Formulas I and II, the radicals R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, which can be the same of different, are C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl groups, X is a halogen group, preferably a bromide group, and n is an integer from 1 to 5. In the present invention, the nucleating agent is provided at 0.01 to 5 part, by weight, per 100 parts, also by weight, of the syndiotactic polystyrene resin. An example of Formula I compound is 2-hydroxybenimidiazole, and an example of the Formula II compound is bis(phenylbromide) methane.
