  • Patent number: 8109425
Abstract: A shooting mode switch control mechanism used in a nail gun is disclosed to include a trigger, a lever function stop member pivotally mounted in the trigger, a spring member stopped against the stop member and a switch pivotally mounted in the trigger. The spring member and the switch are arranged at two sides relative to the pivoted area of the stop member so that when the switch is in the single-shooting position and the trigger is released, the second end portion of the stop member is forced by the spring member into the moving path of the safety bar and pushable by the safety bar for enabling the stop member to activate the air-valve switch once each time the trigger is pressed. When the switch is in the continuous-shooting position, the first end portion of the stop member is stopped against the switch for enabling the second end portion of the stop member to be continuously pushed by the safety bar to activate the air-valve switch continuously.

  • Patent number: 7413103
Abstract: The present invention refers to a dry firing prevention device, especially for use in a nail gun with a drawer type magazine, in which the main body of the nail gun is equipped with a safety apparatus and a dry firing prevention device near a trigger. The dry firing prevention device is disposed on the magazine. When a nail pusher pushes nails until where last few nails are left, the nail pusher will contact with one end of the dry firing prevention device and the other end of the dry firing prevention device blocks the safety apparatus, so that the safety apparatus retains in a safety status to prevent the nail gun from dry firing, so as to prolong the lifetime of the nail gun.

  • Patent number: 7413105
Abstract: The present invention refers to a pushing device of a drawer type magazine apparatus, especially for use with nail guns, in which the magazine apparatus is coupled to a barrel and includes a magazine unit. The magazine unit is equipped with a fixed magazine and a removable nail loading assembly, which cooperates with a pushing device and a nail pusher. The pushing device is equipped with an accommodating member and a spiral spring, by means of the cooperation of the accommodating member and the spiral spring of the pushing device and the nail pusher, the nails can be pushed precisely and stably with an average thrust, so that the situation of nails slanting or getting nails stuck will not happen. The objectives of promoting the convenience for operators and providing durable nail guns are achieved.

  • Publication number: 20030102350
Abstract: A washer feeding device attached to a nail gun is provided. The washer feeding device comprises a hollow cylindrical washer receiving cylinder having a plurality of washers stacked therein. The washer receiving cylinder comprises the following elements. A ring-like first stop member is inwardly extended from the top edge. The inner diameter of the first stop member is smaller than the diameter of the washer by a predetermined value. A flexible second stop member is temporarily snapped to the bottom. A bias mechanism on the washer receiving cylinder serves for pressing the topmost washer downwardly; and a pneumatic delivery mechanism serves for pushing the bottommost washer into the nail gun. The washers are prevented from dropping from either end of the washer receiving cylinder in storage. Also, the washers are free to leave the washer receiving cylinder through the second stop member in operation.
