  • Patent number: 7499231
Abstract: An auto-focus lens module that uses electromagnetic force as well as spring force as driving force to drive the lens for auto-focusing is formed by a rectangular base, two copper plates, an insulation spacer, four magnets, a lens holder, a lens, a coiled spring, a coil, and a rectangular top cover. The lens holder, the lens and the coil form a lens set that moves synchronously. The coiled spring is between the coil and the lens and is elastically supporting between a circular slot of the lens holder and the top cover while the four magnets are respectively located outside the coil symmetrically and equidistantly, on four corners of the rectangular base so that the structure and volume of the lens module are simplified and minimized. Moreover, the distance between the coil and the magnets is shortened so that the electromagnetic force therebetween is increased. Furthermore, the diameter of the coiled spring is reduced for improving stability of the spring force.

  • Patent number: 7477462
Abstract: An auto-focus lens module that uses electromagnetic force as well as spring force as driving force to control movement of the lens for auto-focusing consists of a rectangular base, two copper plates, an insulation spacer, four magnets, a lens holder, a lens, a coil, a spring, and a rectangular top cover. The lens holder, the lens and the coil form a lens set. The spring is sleeved outside the coil and is elastically supporting between the outer circular flange and the top cover while the four magnets are respectively located outside the spring, on four corners of the rectangular case. Thus the components of the lens module according to the present invention are simplified, the volume of the device is minimized, and the lens holder moves stably for focusing.

  • Patent number: 7295388
Abstract: A lens module using electromagnetic force to drive the focus-adjusting lens is disclosed. The lens module includes a base, two steel plates, four springs, a bottom plate, a lens holder, a coil, a lens, a top plate, two magnets, a magnet housing and a top cover. The lens holder, the coil and the top plate are disposed outside the circumference of the lens to form a linked body and the coil is clipped between the lens holder and the top plate so as to reduce diameter and volume of the coil. By the two arc magnets disposed on right and left sides of the coil instead of general circular magnets, volume of the magnets is reduced. By the four springs vertically hooked between four corners of two steel plates respectively and four corresponding brackets of the lens holder, the lens is provided with axial traction for focus adjustment. Therefore, the lens with smaller volume moves steadily to adjust the focus.

  • Patent number: 7262927
Abstract: An auto-focus lens module uses electromagnetic force to drive a lens moving for focusing. The auto-focus lens is composed by a lens holder, a coil and an upper frame clipped on outer circumference of a lens so as to form a lens holder set. And the coil is fixed between the lens holder and the upper frame so as to reduce diameter and volume of the coil. Two arched magnets are disposed on left and right sides of the coil and are positioned by a top cover so that the volume of the magnets is reduced. Two springs are disposed on two guide pins on opposite angles, elastically supported between the lens holder and the inner surface of the top cover for providing the lens holder homogeneous support while moving for focusing. Thereby, the components of the lens module are simplified, the volume of the device is minimized, and the lens holder moves stably for focusing.

  • Publication number: 20070001087
Abstract: A webcam clip is disclosed. The webcam is a U-shaped frame with a clipping part and a pivoting part formed by bent metal wire with certain wire diameter. The clipping part makes the present invention easily clip on edges of panels while the pivoting part is formed by two rear ends of the U-shaped frame for being disposed on a first concave hole arranged symmetrically on right and left sides of a housing of webcam so as to form a pivot between the U-shaped frame and the housing. Therefore, the angles of lens are adjustable. Moreover, a guiding slot is arranged above the first concave hole for connecting the first concave hole with a second concave hole so as to make the pivoting part of the clip elastically move from the first concave hole to the second concave hole along the guiding slot and the device is in folded form. Or the pivoting part can move in reverse direction, from the second concave hole to the first concave hole, along the guiding slot for being used.
