    Abstract: A dough preparation machine includes a power unit, which drives, through rotational speed mechanism, a helical screw shaft that extends into a dough chamber so that the dough is compressed and pushed through rotation of the helical screw shaft to be discharged out of a jet nozzle mounted to the dough chamber. The dough chamber is provided, at a location above the helical screw shaft, with an auxiliary dough driver, which includes two movable blades that are opposite to each other and are selectively extendable outward and retractable inward. When one of the movable blades passes through a circular sidewall of dough chamber, it is pressed by the sidewall to get retracted inwardly and at the same time causing another one of the movable blades to extend outward to knead and poke dough. This process is cyclically repeated to efficiently knead the dough and prevent attachment of the dough.

The heterocyclic compound includes, in the heterocyclic ring: (a) at least two nitrogen atoms each of which is bonded to a —Si(R1)3 group; and (b) at least one carbonyl group (C?O) or thiocarbonyl group (C?S) wherein R1 is a C1-3 alkyl group or an aryl group. The electrolyte composition of the present disclosure is suitable for an electrochemical device. Electrochemical devices, in particular batteries, using the electrolyte composition of else present disclosure are capable of efficiently inhibiting the moisture and acidity therein, thereby stabilizing the electrolyte salt therein, and preventing the electrolyte salt from being further decomposed and from producing hydrogen fluoride.

    Abstract: A power-on reset (POR) circuit includes: a signal generator circuit for generating a first and a second signal according to an input voltage, and a comparator circuit. The comparator circuit, having a non-zero input offset, includes a first MOS transistor with a first conductive type and having a first conductive type gate and a first threshold voltage, and a second MOS transistor with a first conductive type and having a second conductive type gate and a second threshold voltage. The input offset relates to a difference between the first and the second threshold voltage. The first and the second signal control the first and the second MOS transistors respectively to generate a POR signal. When the input voltage exceeds a POR threshold which relates to a predetermined multiple or ratio of the input offset, the POR signal transits its state.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a composition for isolating adipose-derived stromal cells, which comprises a Type I collagenase of 0.5-8% (v/v); a Trypsin of 0.1-0.6% (v/v); and a metal ion chelating agent of 0.01-0.2% (v/v). The present invention further provides a method for isolating adipose-derived stromal cells, which method comprises obtaining an adipose tissue; treating the adipose tissue with the composition of the present invention; centrifuging the adipose tissue; and isolating the adipose tissue to obtain the adipose-derived stromal cells. The present invention facilitates rapid isolation of mesenchymal stromal cells within a short period of time in operating rooms and can be applied to regenerative medicine in the future.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for numerically simulating structural failure with clusters of bonded discrete elements representing a failed portion of the structure are disclosed. A computerized mesh model representing a structure is received in a computer system. The computerized mesh model containing at least a plurality of finite elements with a subgroup of adaptive elements included therein. A corresponding cluster of discrete elements and connecting bonds for each adaptive element are created based on a set of predefined criteria. The discrete elements and the connecting bonds are initially set to a state of pre-active, and connecting bonds are used for connecting discrete elements to one another within each cluster. Numerically-calculated structural behaviors are obtained by conducting a time-marching simulation for a predetermined duration in a plurality of solution cycles using the computerized mesh model with a scheme for processing the adaptive elements and corresponding clusters of discrete elements.
