    Abstract: A method for evaluating tool health with the temperature rising signal, applied to a machine tool that utilizes a tool to perform a removal process upon a workpiece, comprises the steps of: setting a target machining instruction; utilizing a processor to divide the target machining instruction into a residual machining instruction and a micro machining instruction; performing the residual machining instruction; without any coolant or with little coolant, performing the micro machining instruction, and having at least one thermal image sensor to detect a thermal image of a contact area of the tool and the workpiece; having the processor to derive a temperature feature by evaluating the thermal image; and, having the processor to compare the temperature feature with at least one threshold for determining the tool health.

    Abstract: A thermal image auxiliary processing method includes the following steps. A reference part is prepared. A reference positioning point or a reference positioning surface is established with the reference part. A cutting tool or a grinding tool is positioned with the reference positioning point or the reference positioning surface. According to a thermal image, a determined positioning point or a determined positioning surface is obtained. Through the above method, the present disclosure can be used for auxiliary positioning and wearing measurement of the cutting tool or the grinding tool, as well as for measuring the size, the angle or flatness of an object to be measured. Therefore, the present disclosure can avoid the problems of increased equipment downtime and realign errors caused by manual and visual measurement.

    Abstract: A display method includes: converting, by a fitting unit, a position information into a fitting parameter; constructing, by the fitting unit, a first pattern from the position information; constructing, by the fitting unit, a second pattern from the fitting parameter; calculating, by a calculation unit, an offset information between the first pattern and the second pattern; integrating, by an integration unit, the fitting parameter of the fitting unit and the offset information of the calculation unit into a reference information; and constructing, by the integration unit, a third pattern from the reference information. In a human-machine interface applying the display method, when a user enters an amount of tolerance into the human machine interface, the machining path represented by the third pattern is reproduced on the human machine interface. Thus, the display method can simplify operations of processing the machining path and reduce the load on the memory.

    Abstract: A two-sectioned back-pressured catalytic converter has a main body, a tail tube, and a honeycomb carrier. The honeycomb carrier is mounted securely in the main body and has a first section relatively proximal to the intake opening and a second section relatively proximal to the exhaust opening. The density of the holes of the first section is higher than that of the second section. Therefore, waste gas has sufficient space for expansion when passing through the first section, and thus the pressure and the temperature are both lowered, solving problems of the back pressure and the backward pushing. The tail tube is securely mounted into the main body to form a baffle. The waste gas will hit the baffle after passing the honeycomb carrier and generate turbulence which can slow down the gas and make the gas fully react with the precious metal coating.
