The device further includes: a first source/drain contact electrically coupled to the third source/drain region; a second source/drain contact electrically coupled to the second source/drain region; a gate isolation structure adjacent the first and second transistors; and an interconnect structure electrically coupled to the first source/drain contact and the second source/drain contact.

Abstract: A cover plate and computer metal shell arrangement, which includes a computer metal shell having at least one apparatus insertion slot, and a cover plate detachably covered on each of the at least one apparatus slot, the computer metal shell having two screw holes spaced at one side of each of the at least one apparatus insertion slot; the cover plate has two extending lugs the lugs each having a locating device for connection to the screw holes adjacent to the corresponding apparatus insertion slot by a respective screw, which locating device can be a smoothly arched end notch or a round hole.

Abstract: A device for quickly guiding and positioning a main PC board in which the main PC board may be quickly and firmly installed (or removed from) on a computer housing, including one or more rotatable arrow-shaped push retaining blocks screwably secured on an end edge near an opening of the computer housing, and a corresponding number of slide rails provided at an underside of the main PC board such that the main PC board may slide along the slide rails into rail slots pre-formed in the computer housing and further into a predetermined position. Prior to positioning, a projecting block at one side of a front end of the slide rail is fitted into a notch at an inner side of the push retaining block, and the push retaining block is turned to allow the main PC board to be correctly pushed into the computer housing with contact ends at one side thereof engaging with a connector of an interface card.

The support frame is provided with open slots, fastening hooks disposed in the open slots, and a fastening hole. The support frame is engageable with or disengageable from the upper cover to provide a good support for the upper cover in supporting a monitor thereon and making available a completely open space when the upper cover is removed from the housing to facilitate assembly, expansion, or maintenance work.

Abstract: A cover plate positioning device for personal computers including a metal housing and a plastic cover plate. The metal housing is provided with a retaining block at either side thereof. The cover plate has a front side and two side portions. Each side portion has a small window and a fastening plate secured to an inner side thereof. The fastening plate has a push block projecting from the window and a hook. When the cover plate is fitted over the housing, the hook of each fastening plate will engage the corresponding retaining block of the housing to quickly position the cover plate. The cover plate can be quickly disassembled from the housing by pushing the push block of each fastening plate. Use of screws is therefore eliminated.

Abstract: A computer housing and foot member arrangement includes a foot member having a top receiving space and spring retainers bilaterally disposed in the top receiving space, a vertical computer housing inserted into the top receiving space, and a coupling plate connected between the foot member and the vertical computer housing to fix the vertical computer housing to the foot member, the coupling plate having two longitudinal grooves respectively forced into engagement with the spring retainers, hooks and a stop plate respectively forced into engagement with respective locating holes at a bottom wall of the vertical computer housing.

Abstract: A device adapted to quickly position interface card seats including a positioning plate and an interface card case. The positioning plate includes a horizontal portion and a vertical portion, which matches a fastening hook at a lower end of the interface card case. When interface card seats containing cards such as VGA cards, network cards, IDE cards, sound cards, etc., are placed into the interface card case, they are pressed by the positioning plate which urge against the front sides and the sides of the interface card seats to quickly position them.

Abstract: An interface card holder mounting arrangement includes an interface card holder attached to the vertical rear side wall of a casing for a computer mainframe, the interface card holder having hooks raised from a flange thereof extended out of an opening on the casing, a clamping plate having a tail end inserted into an insertion slot on a partition wall inside the casing and an angled clamping head clamped on the flange of the interface card holder, and a retainer plate which secures the interface card holder and the clamping plate to the vertical rear side wall of the casing, the retainer plate having one end hooked on the hooks of the interface card holder, a flange stopped at the angled clamping head against the flange of the interface card holder, and a flat tail fastened to a screw hole at the vertical rear side wall of the casing by a screw.

Abstract: A terminal holder mounting arrangement includes a terminal holder supported on an open frame at the upright rear side wall of the casing of a computer and detachably secured in place by hooks and retaining elements inside the casing, the terminal holder having a top flange forced into engagement with the hooks at the casing, and an oblique bottom flange moved over the retaining elements at the casing and retained in place by the retaining elements. The terminal holder is disengaged from the constraint of the hooks and the retainer elements when a rigid pin is inserted into a bottom hole in the casing to push the bottom flange of the terminal holder away from the retainer elements.

Abstract: A computer mainframe housing includes a metal casing having two retainer blocks at two opposite sides and a rear flange, a plastic cover covered on the metal casing and internally covered with a metal sheet for protection against electromagnetic interference, the plastic cover having two handles respectively protecting from two split side wall portions thereof at two opposite sides, two retainer blocks respectively protecting from the split side wall portions and controlled by the handles to be forced into engagement with the retainer blocks of the metal casing, and a plurality of top rods protecting from the inside of the cover to engage the front of a rear flange of the metal casing.

Abstract: A slot structure for positioning fans in computers, office machines or electrical products. The slot structure includes a positioning slot with an elastic hook members at either side and a plurality of suspended elastic stop blocks at the corners. After the fan is inserted into the positioning slot and hooked by the hook members, the elastic stop blocks will urge upwardly against the fan to eliminate any clearance and secure the fan firmly in place.

Abstract: An assembly for supporting vertical type apparatus such as computer mainframes includes a plurality of inter-linking feet. The feet mounted onto the bottom side of the housing and are rotatable through a certain angle. The feet are provided with respective gears which are engageable to allow symmetrical movement. Each foot is provided with a plurality of elastic elements with protrudent blocks matching corresponding positioning apertures on the bottom side of the housing to effectively support the housing. The feet may be extended to firmly support the housing to prevent it from falling down. They may also be turned to conceal below the housing when not in use so as to facilitate storage and transportation.

Abstract: A mounting structure for positioning light bulbs and push button switches in computers. The mounting structure includes a body with a plurality of light mounting seats and switch mounting seats. The light mounting seats are each provided with a central through hole having clamping and shielding plates which work in cooperation with curved slots above and below the through hole to effectively position light bulbs of acceptable tolerance, apart from enabling the light beams to concentrate and extend forwardly to prevent confused light indication. The switch mounting seats are provided with slots which may guide wires to the back of the body and receive switches of acceptable tolerance.

Abstract: A structure for improving the ground connection between the computer and access terminal connectors includes a terminal box for positioning various terminal connectors (such as the screen, mouse, printer, etc.) and mounting onto the computer housing an electrically conductive plate. The terminal box is configured to have a projecting portion having positioning pieces at an upper end and hook pieces at a lower end so as to match the conductive plate that has a bent portion and corresponding upper positioning holes and lower notches with bosses. The conductive plate may be easily fitted onto or removed from the terminal box, requiring no screws or rivets. Circular terminal through holes are provided on the conductive plate and are each provided with side elastic guide pieces for ensuring good ground connection when the terminal connectors in the computer are positioned near the terminal box.

Abstract: The improved sliding case mounting structure for computers includes multiple horizontal arrays of hollow circular mounting elements on the inner side walls of a compartment of the computer for receiving disk drives which may be smoothly slided along the circular mounting elements. Good grounding effects may also be achieved.

Abstract: A circuit board locating device for fastening a circuit board to a frame, having two pairs of symmetrical flat legs that extend downward at an outward angle from a top surface of said device and are inserted through a crossed slot on the frame, and a hooked portion raised from a top side thereof and hooked in a retaining hole on the circuit board, each leg having two side boards extending perpendicularly outward from outer edges of a main body of each said leg, a bottom plate stopped at one side of the frame remote from the circuit board, and a space defined between the side boards and the bottom plate and engaged with the periphery of the cross slot of the frame.

Abstract: A circuit board locating device for fastening a circuit board to a frame, having two pairs of symmetrical flat legs at four sides inserted through a cross slot in a frame, a screw hole at the top connected to a circuit board by a screw, four pairs of side boards respectively raised from two opposite lateral sides of each leg and stopped at the top side of the frame, four horizontal bottom plates respectively outwardly extend from the legs at the bottom and stopped at the bottom side of the frame, and two inward projecting portions respectively raised from two opposite legs and stopped against the periphery of the screw to hold it in the screw hole.

Abstract: An interface card mounting structure for computers or electronic apparatus includes a card mounting seat, a ground plate and multiple interface cards adapted for use with interface cards or expansion card such as VGA cards, IDE cards, sound cards, etc. The ground plate is fitted onto the card mounting seat before the cards are inserted to ensure tight contact between the cards and the ground plate, to prevent ground damage and to protect the equipment.
