    Abstract: A focus has an opening and an upper surface surrounding the opening. The opening is configured to accommodate a SiC wafer. The SiC wafer has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. When the focus ring is mounted in a semiconductor wafer processing apparatus and the SiC wafer is positioned in the opening of the focus ring, the upper surface of the focus ring is lower than the first surface of the SiC wafer and is higher than the second surface of the SiC wafer.

    Abstract: A portable information handling system pivots a hinge rotational axis as the hinge rotates housing portions between open and closed positions to manage a gap between the housing portions. For example, the hinge couples a base at a perimeter of one housing portion, the base having a many body that slides on sliding members of the base and that supports a bracket extending inward to couple to another housing portion. A bracket gear engages with a pinion gear included in the main body to translate bracket rotation through the pinion gear to a rack integrated in the base, thereby sliding the main body relative to the base as the housing portions rotate so that the distance between the housing portions adjusts with rotational orientation.

    Abstract: A hinge module for a foldable type device has one end-surface connected to a flexible display and has another end-surface respectively connected to a first housing and a second housing. The hinge module comprises a base and a first sliding mechanism. The first sliding mechanism comprises a first supporting plate, a first sliding cover, a first linkage rod, a linkage plate and at least one first restoring member. The first supporting plate and the linkage plate are respectively pivotally connected to the first-lateral-pivoting-portion and the first-central-pivoting-portion. A second limiting portion of a first sliding cover is used to limit the first limiting portion of the first supporting plate in a way of relatively sliding. Thus, when the first limiting portion slides relative to the second limiting portion, the first supporting plate is moved to accommodate the curved-central-part of the flexible display.

    Abstract: A novel method for scanning multiple images in a single scanning process is disclosed. The process utilizes at least a frame holder, which contains a front frame section and a back frame section that are glued together at their top edges and are separable at least at their bottom to allow a sheet of scanning material to be placed therebetween. Each of the front and back frame sections contains a cluster of matching orientation holes on their right and left sides with a predetermined pattern to allow a computer program to achieve scan area recognition and orientation. During the scanning process, the at least one frame holder containing the image is scanned, wherein the sides of the frame holder are detected as black signals and the orientation holes are detected as white signals. Then a computer program is used to perform a previewing recognition process by detecting and carving out a scanning area corresponding to each frame holder based on the black signals and the white signals of the frame holder.
