  • Patent number: 7669485
Abstract: An air velocity sensing system not requiring external power supply is applied to an air duct system, comprising: (1) a sensor module disposed in the air duct for measuring the air velocity therein and for saving the measured air velocity value; and (2) a control module for wirelessly transmitting a signal to the sensor module, which sends the measured air velocity value back to the control module after receiving the signal from the control module, so as to have the air velocity value displayed on control module. The present invention also provides an air velocity sensing method not requiring external power supply.

  • Patent number: 7127377
Abstract: A monitoring method to monitor efficiency of air-blowing devices in a ventilation system. First, an optimal system curve is provided. Then, the air-blowing devices are activated with a first current frequency to obtain a first fan performance curve of the air-blowing devices according to the first current frequency and a test record. Next, first flow rates of the air-blowing devices are detected, and first system curves and efficiencies of the air-blowing devices are obtained by comparing the first flow rates with the first fan performance curve.

  • Publication number: 20050245188
Abstract: A biological safety cabinet comprises a cabinet body, an experiment chamber, a blower, and a soft material chamber. The cabinet body is cuboid and comprises a first elongated side. The experiment chamber is disposed in the cabinet body. The blower impels air in a direction parallel to the first elongated side. The soft material chamber is connected to the blower, wherein air flows from the blower through the soft material chamber and into the experiment chamber.
