    Abstract: An audio system of a tablet personal computer and the speaker orientating method thereof are provided, wherein the audio system comprises at least two speakers mounted on a frame of the tablet personal computer, an angle detector mounted on the frame, an audio driver used to drive the speakers, and an audio-adjusting device. The audio driver can adjust the sound field of each speaker in accordance with a set of audio parameters. The angle detector is used to generate positional data as the frame is rotated relative to the ground. The audio adjusting device is used to renew the audio setting in accordance with the positional data to make the speakers provide an audio stereophony substantially equal to the predetermined stereophony.

    Abstract: A portable computer includes a detection unit, a control unit and a warning unit. The detection unit is for detecting a force-exerted state of the portable computer and outputting a detection signal accordingly. When the portable computer is vibrated or shaken under a security mode, the control unit informs the warning unit to produce the alarm signal according to the detection signal.

    Abstract: A portable computer and data backup method thereof is disclosed. The portable computer includes a hard disk drive (HDD), a data storage device and a control unit. The HDD is for storing data, while the data storage device is for making a backup of the HDD data. The control device is coupled to the HDD and the data storage device. The data backup method includes setting the data storage device in a power off mode or power-saving mode and using the HDD to store data in order to perform a normal-mode operation; and waking up the data storage device to make a backup of the HDD data to perform a backup-mode operation.
