Publication number: 20240135854Abstract: A method involves measuring, for an optical property of the display panel for an input gray level and at a first refresh rate, first and second values at respective first and second ambient brightness levels. The method also involves determining a compensation factor for the input gray level at the first refresh rate. The method further involves determining a modified gamma value at a second refresh rate, wherein the modified gamma value reduces a perceived optical defect of the display panel when operating at the second refresh rate by maintaining a consistent delta difference in values for the optical property between the first and second refresh rates at different ambient brightness levels. The method additionally involves storing the modified gamma value, where the device is configured to adjust input display data using the modified gamma value when transitioning from the first refresh rate to the second refresh rate.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 12, 2021Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Chien-Hui Wen, Hsin-Yu Chen

Patent number: 11908113Abstract: An image processing method includes: (a) receiving a to-be-processed image; (b) obtaining a target brightness of the to-be-processed image; (c) creating a histogram curve of the to-be-processed image; (d) clipping the histogram curve according to a clipping value; (e) obtaining a mapping function of the clipped histogram curve; (f) obtaining a mapped image mapped according to the mapping function; (g) obtaining an average brightness of the mapped image; (h) obtaining a difference between the target brightness and the average brightness; and (i) if the difference is greater than a threshold, adjusting the clipping value and repeating steps (d) to (i) until the difference is less than the threshold. Thus, if the to-be-processed image does not reach the target brightness, the image processing device automatically repeats steps (c) to (i) until the to-be-processed image reaches the target brightness.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2021Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Assignee: CVITEK CO. LTD.Inventors: Jen-Shi Wu, Hsin-Hui Chen

Publication number: 20220237746Abstract: An image processing method includes the following steps. Firstly, a block-size value is obtained. Then, a first frame into a plurality of first blocks according to the block-size value is divided. Then, a second frame into a plurality of second blocks according to the block-size value is divided. Then, a noise reduction intensity array is obtained according to a first pixel information of each first block and a second pixel information of each second block. Then, an output frame is obtained according to the noise reduction intensity array, the first frame and the second frame.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 12, 2022Publication date: July 28, 2022Inventors: Jen-Shi WU, Hsin-Hui CHEN

Patent number: 7396245Abstract: A memory connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals accommodated in the insulative housing, a cover engaged with the insulative housing and a switch mechanism secured in the insulative housing. The switch mechanism includes a first member and a second member. The first member keeps a proper distance to the second member. When a memory card is fully inserted into the memory card connector, the memory card passes over and pushes the first member to make electric connection to the second member. The connection between the first member and the second member generates a signal to judge whether the memory card is right inserted or not.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2006Date of Patent: July 8, 2008Assignee: Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chung-hsin Huang, Mei-chuan Yang, Hsin-hui Chen
