    Abstract: A method for retrofitting exercise machines includes removably attaching a sensor module to a moving part of an exercise machine, the sensor module being configured to detect movements of the moving part and transmit the detected data by a first wireless communication connection, placing a control module in a vicinity of yet separated from the exercise machine, the control module being configured to receive the detected data, calculate an angle value and a speed range using the detected data and transmit the angle value and the speed range by a second wireless communication connection, providing a remote cloud-based application server configured to receive the angle value and the speed range via the second wireless communication connection, verify a user, produce data packets based on the angle value, the speed range and the verified user information and transmit the data packets to a display device.

The processor obtains a first length corresponding to the first gravity sensor and a second length corresponding to the second gravity sensor, obtains a set of coordinates of a joint in a coordinate system according to the first polar angle, the first azimuth angle and the first length, obtains a set of coordinates of the second gravity sensor in the coordinate system according to the set of coordinates of the joint, the second polar angle, the second azimuth angle and the second length, and obtains a joint angle according to the set of coordinates of the second gravity sensor in the coordinate system, the first length and the second length.

The system includes a server, at least one case, multiple objects, and a mobile electronic device. The method is adapted to the mobile electronic device and includes the following steps: transmitting a lookup request for a target object to the server; when obtaining location information of the target object from the server, transmitting a search request to the server, where the target object is located in a target case; in response to a distance between the mobile electronic device and a target case detected by a distance sensor of the target case, displaying a prompt signal corresponding to a first prompt signal signaled by a case prompt device of the target case; and in response to the distance determined by the server to be less than a distance threshold, displaying a prompt object.
