  • Publication number: 20230254890
Abstract: A communication system includes an antenna, a first wireless communication circuit, a second wireless communication circuit, a switching circuit, and a control circuit. During a second mode, a transmission and reception period of the antenna is divided by the control circuit into a plurality of first scheduling periods and a plurality of second scheduling periods interleaved with the first scheduling periods. The control circuit controls the switching circuit to select the first path or the second path to connect the antenna to the first wireless communication circuit or the second wireless communication circuit, according to a second priority sequence and a third priority sequence during the first scheduling periods and the second scheduling periods, respectively. The second priority sequence is different from the third priority sequence.

  • Publication number: 20180349565
Abstract: This invention provides a method for producing standard-compliant application document, in which the steps comprise: inputting a plural of validation rules and guidelines into a rule validation engine. Then, using this engine to validate a plural of fields entered in a study protocol design system, and outputting the study protocol. Further to upload the study protocol to an institutional review board (IRB) review system and/or a statistical review system, and outputting an approved study protocol. The protocol information of this approved protocol can be used by the clinical trial management system to carry out the data collection process. The data collected by this approved study protocol are converted to a standard-compliant document by a data tabulation system. Finally, the test results are validated by the rule validation engine to generate a standard-compliant application document.

  • Patent number: 9001805
Abstract: An electronic device having network connection function includes a receiving unit and a control unit, where the electronic device and an access point support a plurality of connection modes. The receiving unit is utilized for receiving a signal from the access point. The control unit is utilized for selecting a specific connection mode from the plurality of connection modes according to a determination result generated by determining whether the signal satisfies a predetermined condition, and starting to connect to the access point by using the specific connection mode, where a data rate of the specific connection mode is not a highest data rate among that of the plurality of connection modes.

  • Patent number: 7043590
Abstract: A PCI interface card coupled to a PCI bus includes a first controller and a second controller. When a processor coupled to the PCI bus initializes the PCI interface card, the first controller is enabled to respond with a message to the processor to indicate that the PCI interface card is a single-function device and the second controller is disabled. When the processor disables the first controller, the second controller is allowed to connect the processor through the first controller. A computer system includes the processor, the PCI bus, and the PCI interface card.

  • Publication number: 20050084097
Abstract: An input port for receiving the 16-bit index value is connected to a plurality of combinatorial logic. The plurality of combinatorial logic directly calculates the TKIP Sbox value based on the index and outputs the TKIP Sbox value on an output port. The plurality of combinatorial logic has a first plurality of combinatorial logic connected to a low part of the index value for calculating a TKIP Sbox left value and a second plurality of combinatorial logic connected to a high part of the index value for calculating a TKIP Sbox right value. The TKIP Sbox value is formed by XORing the TKIP Sbox left value and the TKIP Sbox right value.
