  • Publication number: 20240080675
Abstract: A method for performing network control in a wireless communications system and associated apparatus are provided. The method may include: carrying a set of link information in a preamble of a first data transmission frame transmitted from the first network device to a second network device, wherein the set of link information may include at least one indication among the following indications: a destination device indication, a device assignment indication and a transmission power control indication; wherein a third network device is arranged to monitor wireless transmission in the wireless communications system to obtain the set of link information from the first data transmission frame, and determine spatial reuse (SR) transmission availability of the third network device based on the set of link information.

  • Patent number: 9823500
Abstract: An optical assembly maintains 90° polarization rotation. In one aspect, an optical assembly includes a polarization beam splitter a rotational element and a path exchange mirror. The temperature, wavelength and manufacturing dependencies of polarization rotation of this optical assembly are minimal to nonexistent compared to conventional Faraday rotation assemblies as the optical fiber accepts only the desired rotation. As such these optical assemblies have no temperature and wavelength dependencies of the polarization rotation angle over broad temperature and wavelength ranges with minimal additional losses. In another aspect, the polarization dependence of reflection from the path exchange mirror is managed so as to minimize the polarization effect associated with oblique incidence.
