The wheel includes a rim having a second through hole that is aligned with the mounting hole. The wheel further includes a connecting unit connecting the spoke with the rim. The connecting unit includes a rod extending through the through hole into the mounting hole and having an engaging hole that is aligned with the blind hole. The connecting unit further includes a fastener extending through the blind hole into the engaging hole and engaging with the engaging hole.

    Abstract: A device and a method of flattening recycled carbon fiber material are provided. A main body is provided with two flat plates at an upper and a lower positions corresponding to each other and an ultrasonic unit is disposed on each of the flat plates. While in use, recycled carbon fiber material is placed at the lower flat plate and then at least one ultrasonic probe of the ultrasonic unit is driven to work and vibrate the recycled carbon fiber material into a flat and thin state. After the flattened recycled carbon fiber material being pressurized to form products required, the product has flat and smooth surfaces with special textures. A thickness of the product can be controlled and the product can be thinned according to users' needs, without surface treatment such as grinding, polishing, etc. Thereby production cost is reduced and yield rate of the products is improved.

    Abstract: A double screw cutter for recycled carbon fiber material and a method of cutting recycled carbon fiber material by using the same are provided. The double screw cutter includes a housing and counter-rotating twin screws. A cut channel is formed in the housing while a long-fiber feed inlet, a mid-fiber feed inlet, and a short-fiber feed inlet are disposed on an outer surface of the housing and all communicated with the cut channel. A discharge outlet is arranged at a rear end of the housing and communicated with the cut channel. The counter-rotating twin screws are mounted in the cut channel of the housing and provided with two screw rods rotated in opposite directions simultaneously. Thereby recycled carbon fiber with different lengths is cut into a preset length and thus the following processes and applications of the recycled carbon fiber become more convenient.

A passively impact resistant composite electrolyte includes an electrolyte and electrically non-conducting particles that enable shear thickening. The particles can have a polydispersity index of no greater than 0.1, an average particle size in a range of from 50 nm to 1 um, and an absolute zeta potential of greater than ±40 mV. The shear thickening enabling particles can be from 10 wt. % to 40 wt. % of the total weight of the separator and shear thickening particles. Between 20-40 wt. % of the shear thickening enabling particles are located in the pores of the separator.

The shear thickening particles have a polydispersity index of no greater than 0.1, an average particle size of in a range of 50 nm to 1 um, and an absolute zeta potential of greater than ±40 mV. The suspension composition is applied to the separator material, wherein a portion of the particles and suspension solvent penetrate the pores. The suspension solvent is evaporated from the separator material. An anode layer and a cathode layer are applied. An electrolyte composition is applied between the anode layer and the cathode layer. The electrolyte composition includes an electrolyte solvent and an electrolyte salt.

The indicator component includes a carrier and a releasable compound that is held by the carrier. The releasable compound is in a gas state at a critical release temperature, and is released from the carrier at a temperature that is at or above the critical release temperature. A method of coating a surface of an energy storage system, and a method of detecting the approach of thermal runaway of an energy storage system, are also provided. The method includes coating a surface with the temperature sensitive coating, providing a gas sensor in the vicinity of the surface that is capable of detecting the presence of the releasable compound, monitoring the output of the sensor, and signaling an alarm when the sensor output indicates the presence of the releasable compound.

Electrodes of the small square cell pieces are all on a back side and the small square cell pieces are formed by cutting a back-contact solar cell. A protective layer is attached to a surface of a light-receiving side by using an adhesive layer.

A corresponding signal-angle relation is selected from a database according to type of the liquid and material of the object. The contact angle of the liquid on the surface is obtained by applying the determining signal to the corresponding signal-angle relation.
