  • Publication number: 20240096784
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an integrated chip including an extended via that spans a combined height of a wire and a via and that has a smaller footprint than the wire. The extended via may replace a wire and an adjoining via at locations where the sizing and the spacing of the wire are reaching lower limits. Because the extended via has a smaller footprint than the wire, replacing the wire and the adjoining via with the extended via relaxes spacing and allows the size of the pixel to be further reduced. The extended via finds application for capacitor arrays used for pixel circuits.

  • Patent number: 6862257
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for adjusting a tilt angle of an optical disc driver. The method includes the following steps. First, to move the optical pick up to close the outer end of the first and second guiding shafts. Next, the turntable drives a disc to rotate. Then, the light source provides a light to penetrate through the disc and the lens. The image sensor receives the reflection light from the disc and the lens. The monitor displays the traces projected from the reflection lights. According to the traces, the driving device adjusts the positions of the first and second guiding shafts.

  • Patent number: 6842711
Abstract: The present invention provides a high precision, low cost laser power calibration system. First, the photo signals output from a standard photo diode are received by a photo calibration system; then a set of standards consisting of the corresponding current signals and the power signals are saved in an EEPROM. Finally, the photo diode to be calibrated can be calibrated using the present system in accordance with the calibration standards.

  • Patent number: 6784985
Abstract: A three-dimensional laser beam detection device. The three-dimensional laser beam detection device has a portion fixed to a laser source such as an optical head, an adjusting device provided on the fixed portion, and a laser beam detection portion coupled to the adjusting device. The adjusting device has a first table movably coupled to the fixed portion in a first direction, and a first adjusting portion coupled to the first table for moving the first table relatively to the fixed portion in the first direction. The first adjusting portion is formed within the adjusting device. The laser beam detection portion has a detector to detect the laser beam radiating from the laser source. The fixed portion has a fixed relative position to the laser source, and the detector is adjustable in relation to the laser source by performing adjustment with the adjusting device.
