The fingerprint sensing control circuit drives the fingerprint sensor to perform a fingerprint sensing operation. The display driving circuit drives the touch display panel to perform a display operation. The touch sensing control circuit drives the touch display panel to perform a touch operation. The fingerprint sensing control circuit and the display driving circuit have a first direct communication therebetween so as to facilitate at least one of the fingerprint sensing operation and the display operation.

    Abstract: A display device, a multi-fingerprint detection device and an operation method thereof are provided. The multi-fingerprint detection device includes a touch circuit and a fingerprint sensing control circuit. The touch circuit performs touch detection control on a touch panel module to determine a plurality of touch regions of a touch event on the touch panel module. The fingerprint sensing control circuit performs fingerprint sensing control on the touch panel module, so that the touch panel module senses a plurality of target sub-regions corresponding to the touch regions, and then obtains fingerprint sensing result of the target sub-regions. The fingerprint sensing control circuit divides the fingerprint sensing result into a plurality of sub-fingerprint images according to the touch regions.

    Abstract: A fingerprint identification device and method are provided. The fingerprint identification device includes a touch-sensing panel, a fingerprint sensor, and a processing circuit. The fingerprint sensing area of the fingerprint sensor is located in the touch-sensing area of the touch-sensing panel. The processing circuit senses the touch area of an object in the touch-sensing area via the touch-sensing panel when the object contacts the touch-sensing area of the touch-sensing panel. The processing circuit senses the fingerprint of the object via the fingerprint sensor to obtain a fingerprint template. The processing circuit determines the finger attribute of the object based on the physical characteristics of the touch area. The processing circuit selects the registered template related to the finger attribute from a plurality of registered templates according to the finger attribute, so as to perform fingerprint matching on the fingerprint template.
