  • Publication number: 20190074640
Abstract: An adapter module including an adapter and a power cord is provided. The adapter includes a first interface, at least a second interface coupled with at least a load, an identifying circuit having a sensing switch configured at the first interface, a controller, and a detecting circuit. The first interface is provided for inserting by a connector of the power cord. The sensing switch changes its on/off state depending on whether the first connector provides a trigger. A first message is generated if the first connector provides the trigger. The controller is coupled to the identifying circuit and receives the first message. The detecting circuit is coupled between the first interface and the second interface for detecting a power parameter value, and provides a second message to the controller. • Patent number: 8182274
Abstract: A power converter having a pivotable and receivable power plug has a housing, an adapter board, a power output unit and a plug. The adapter board and the power output unit are mounted inside the housing. The adapter board has two conducting strips and a grounding strip. Each conducting strip has a shaft holder formed by bending a free end of the conducting strip, and two metal pivot shafts formed on two opposite sides of the plug are pivotally and respectively mounted in the shaft holders. The plug has a ground plate having a first engagement portion formed thereon. The grounding strip has a second engagement portion formed therein in a pivoting path of the plug to engage the first engagement portion and position the plug when the plug is pivoted and protrudes beyond the housing. Accordingly, the power converter can have a pivotable and receivable plug with minimum parts.

  • Publication number: 20110195599
Abstract: A flat restorable cable has a cable body and two connectors. The cable body is wound to have a spirally wound form. The cable body is extended by pulling two ends of the cable, and restores back to the original spirally wound form once either end of the cable is released. The two connectors are securely mounted to respective ends of the cable body and used to respectively connect with two external compatible interfaces. As a result of less part required, compact size and thin thickness, the flat restorable cable addresses an inexpensive and portable solution to connect two electronic devices over a short distance.

  • Publication number: 20080266762
Abstract: An electronic device casing with a plug housing that has a housing, a plug and a recess. The plug has an electrical wire that connects the plug and the housing, and a connector that electrically connects to the electrical wire through the plug. The recess corresponds to the plug and the connector and has a magnet mounted on the recess where the connector may be stored. When the plug is stored in the recess, the magnet holds the connector. Consequently, the plug can be mounted easily and stably in the recess and removed from the recess without pulling and tugging the electrical wire. Thus the electrical wire will be less likely to have contact faults. Besides, the recess may have a simpler shape that reduces the production cost of the plug housing.
