  • Patent number: 8537533
Abstract: An electronic device includes a main body and a support assembly. The support assembly includes four support components arranged at four sides of the main body. Each support component includes a first arm and a second arm. A first arm includes a first end portion rotatably connected to one end of one of the four sides of the main body, and a second end portion extending from an end of the first arm. The second arm includes a third end portion rotatably connected to the other end of the side of the main body and defines a sliding groove. A pin is connected to the second end portion and slidably received in the sliding groove. The pin is capable of being held in various positions by friction between the pin and the sliding groove, allowing the support components to maintain at a desired orientation for supporting the main body.

  • Publication number: 20120261305
Abstract: An electronic device includes a main body and a support assembly including four L-shaped components. The L-shaped components are arranged around edges of the main body. Each L-shaped component includes two flexible end portions. Each adjacent L-shaped components can be connected to each other at the end portions thereof, allowing the L-shaped components to rotate relative to each other about the two connected end portions. Two connected L-shaped components are able to rotate with respect to the other two L-shaped components, thereby forming an angled structure to support the main body.

  • Publication number: 20120256497
Abstract: A power supply system includes a battery pack and an electronic device. The battery pack includes a battery, a voltage conversion circuit, and a first power port. The electronic device includes a second power port. When the battery pack is connected to the electronic device via the first power port and the second power port, the connection between the battery and the voltage conversion circuit is established, the voltage conversion circuit converts a voltage of the battery to a predetermined voltage and power the electronic device via the first power port and the second power port; when the battery pack does not connect to the electronic device, the connection between the battery and the voltage conversion circuit is cut off.

  • Patent number: 6587231
Abstract: A scanning apparatus comprises a transparent housing, a driving means arranged within the transparent housing, and an image sensor arranged within the transparent housing and driven by the driving means. The upper surface and the lower surface of the transparent housing are marked to define a transparent upper window and a transparent lower window. The image sensor comprises a contact image sensor and a supporting box for housing the contact image sensor. The small article to be scanned is facedown placed on the transparent upper window of the scanning apparatus when the scanning apparatus is in erect arrangement. The large article to be scanned is faced up placed and the user can align the scanning region through the transparent upper window and lower window. Therefore, the inventive scanning apparatus is applicable to scan article of both large and small size, and the transparent upper window and lower window facilitate the alignment of scanner for user for entire scanning or partial scanning of an article.

  • Patent number: 6101004
Abstract: A scanning device for a computer includes a case body, a transparent scanning panel, a transparent viewing panel, and a scanning module unit. The case body includes a broad upper wall and a broad lower wall, and has a columnar hollow space which extends downwardly from the broad upper wall to the broad lower wall so as to form upper and lower annular edge portions respectively in the upper and lower walls. The upper and lower walls respectively define upper and lower annular openings. The scanning panel is fitted to the upper annular edge portion to cover the upper annular opening and defines a scanning area with a first size indicating mark. The viewing panel is fitted to the lower annular edge portion to cover the lower annular opening so as to define a viewing area through which the first size indicating mark is visible.
