    Abstract: A color image enhancement apparatus has a color attribute interpreter and a color attribute adjuster. The color attribute interpreter generates an adjust signal according to a Hue, a Saturation and a Brightness of a pixel data. Of the adjust signal, each adjustment for each of the Hue, the Saturation and the Brightness is determined by all of the Hue, the Saturation and the Brightness of the pixel data. The color attribute adjuster is connected to the color attribute interpreter. The color attribute adjuster receives the adjust signal and adjusts the transformed color attribute according to the adjust signal.

    Abstract: A processor and a related method for adjusting color attributes of pixels are introduced. The method of the present invention includes transforming the color attributes of a first format having no independent luminance signal to color attributes of a second format having an independent luminance signal, and adjusting the color attributes of the second format such that the luminance signal can be processed individually and directly. The processor of the present invention includes an examining unit for examining color attributes of pixels, a transforming unit coupled to the examining unit for transforming the color attributes of pixels of a first format to a second format that comprises an independent luminance signal, an adjusting unit coupled to the transforming unit for adjusting color attributes of pixels, and an inverse-transforming unit coupled to the adjusting unit for transforming the color attributes of pixels of the second format to the first format.

    Abstract: A digital fuzzy logic processor for generating output data representing a degree of membership function, specifically, a complement-generating circuit that generates complement data for outputting to a one's-complement circuit to determine a degree of membership output. The digital fuzzy logic processor includes an input port, a memory unit for storing a plurality of data and a prescaled base-distance-slope product table, a subtracting and multiplexer circuit to generate relative location signals and relative distance data, and a control unit that controls the processor. The logic processor further includes a pre-scale shifter to generate prescaled relative distance data, an address generator to generate a table address to retrieve a base-distance-slope product from the prescaled base-distance-slope product table, and a post scalar shifter to shift prescaled base-distance-slope products to generate complement data.
